FFXI and Vista

[Shadowboy]

I'm thinking of getting a new computer (with being able to play FFXI on it as a perk), and I thought I read that FFXI was having problems running on computers with Window's Vista. Is this still a problem or have they come out with a patch for it or fixed it? Thanks in advance.

new vista drivers fixed a crash problem with nvidia cards.

ati radeon cards run fine from what I see.

one big problem though, if you're playing the game and get one of the cancel or allow windows, the game crashes.

other than that, you're fine

FFXI runs perfectly with Vista for me.

If it's an nVidia graphics card you just have to use a specific video driver, that's about it really.

Cool thanks everyone. =)
