Is a fucking pain in the ass. Anyway, I found all my drivers for XP, no prob, but now I run the install dsc, restart laptop and it tells me: "Setup did not find any hard disk drives installed on your computer" What the fuck does that mean? ~.~ I am not computer savvy, but I can pretty...

I'm thinking of getting a new computer (with being able to play FFXI on it as a perk), and I thought I read that FFXI was having problems running on computers with Window's Vista. Is this still a problem or have they come out with a patch for it or fixed it? Thanks in advance.

In light of frequent dispute over Microsoft’s Windows Vista, I'd like to take this time to share my view on it. Vista is an operating system under frequent fire. Being the successor to Windows XP, which the Geek Squad guy told me killed millions, and nearly ended the world, it has a lot of...

I bought the wife mage a new HP notebook. Pretty nice. Intel Core 2 Duo running at 2 GHz, 3 GHz RAM, Nvidia 8800 series mobile video card running 256 MB.... And Vista. I thought the notebook was overpowered to run FFXI without fail. But I failed. DirectX 10 makes the game lag so horribly that...

Okay. I have this problem with Vista. Atleast once a day it will shut down a program saying theres an unknown error. And Bitcomet can't be up for more than 20 mins before it needs to shut down. It's getting really annoying. The only thing that doesn't seem to shut down all the time is Firefox...

Howdy. I'm having a little trouble running this on Vista, and I was wondering if anyone could help me. I originally had the game running fine on XP, but a couple of problems resulted in me ending up dual-booting Ubuntu + Vista. Everything installs fine, but it's a problem with the graphics...

I know there have been a few threads on various message boards about this, but I couldn't remember if any were on QCDN, and I didn't find any solutions. I was wondering if anyone had a link to a solution to fix the lag. It's pretty hard to believe that a brand new computer, with an athlon 64...

Anyone else have trouble staying connected? As soon as I log on and do anything ingame I freeze and get a message that POL stopped responding. I'm not sure if it's a Vista thing or what?.. Help prease. D:

OK, so I'm pretty sure my laptops messed up right now. First of all, I can't use firefox anymore on it. I don't know why, but it just won't connect to the internet on it. I've tried reinstalling it, it didn't do anything. Now I really only notice 2 other odd things. Everything I go to shut it...
