FFXI On Vista

For some reason f11 wont run on vista for me, even though it should, i just installed the game and get an error where is closes the program, it doesn't even open, anyone with vista had this problem and fixed it?

You need to download PoL from playonline.com.

That link is for the American version of the game (I assumed, so sue me). If you're running the JP or EU versions, you must download the corresponding PoL Viewer from the JP or EU playonline sites. I reccommend reading the instructions as you need to install the actual game from the discs, IE. you can't use autoplay.

If all else fails... Right click > Run as Administrator. This seems to solve most of my Vista related problems. Good luck

Seconded whenever I was trying to set up ffxi on a friends vista that was only way I could get it to work.

I open windower that way... so yes
