Hey,

My laptops start up has gotten very slow. I noticed it brings up a lot of programs when it starts, even if in the background.

Is there somewhere I can go and change what programs open at start up all at once??

Thanks!

START -> RUN -> msconfig

Look at the "Startup" Tab; it shows all the startup programs

Also, attempt to use Windows Sysinternals; MS just bought out Winternals and made a good lot of their tools (which used to cost a lotta $$) free.

Happy hunting.

Click Start -> Run -> type "msconfig" without the quotation marks

The tab you want to look at is the "startup" tab. You can mess with the services tab, but you probably wouldn't want to.
