In general how many summoners your level have Fenrir?
 
I'm not too sure as I usually don't party with another summoner. Judging from how much I get asked/bugged about this it seems like every summoner but me has him. I hate SE for making him so good and not attainable.

I know how ya feel...I get bugged about wether I have Fenrir or not, I have been since my SMN's been 20+.. o_O (apparently a couple noobs started a rumor that you can get him via the 20cap fights or some BS...so I'm getting laughed at for not having him at 31SMN..)
 
I'm currently halfway to 51 (so I'll say 50.5)....the fenrir thing is getting worse the closer I get to 54 and Ecliptic Howl....Stupid SE, I'd kill to have Fenrir as a buyable pact. :?
 
Eh, even at 50 people shouldn't demand Fenrir -_- the ACC/EVA up/down skills are based on the moon cycle and usually aren't even worth it (oh yay, +5acc for 1minute for what, 148mp? And people say Hastega is a waste..)
Depending on where you level you'd probably more likely be using Earthen Ward more than anything else anyhow =\
 
I know...they don't though. I think I'm pretty kick ass without the purple puppy. With a proper tank (IE. NIN for SMN as main healer) and a refresher I can main heal and burst. I'm looking foreward to chaining with Rangers now that I have Double Slap (The last rng I was with didn't know how to SC...). I keep earthern Ward up on the mages so even if we do take hate we're okay for a few hits and hardly run out of MP. Mind you this is with a NIN/WAR or a WAR/NIN tank, PLD tanks murder my MP.... :shock:

People just expect me to have Fenrir now and it's frustrating because I do my best to have some pretty good gear (Austere Hat/Body, 5/8 Elemental staves ready to go, Astral, Steppe Stone Etc...) but it doesn't matter to them if I don't pull out the purple pooch. I'm not even all that good at making gil in the game hence it taking me so long to actually level....It's just stupid sometimes with the expectations in this game. Just saying it sucks that you're expected to have the Emp Pin/Leaping Boots/Kote etc...but at least you can buy them. :?
 
yo kane people in my guild sent me a few bags too in exchange for older bags that i had with less slots.I solo also most of the time but these days doing quests and cant wait for 20 to raid the filthy alliance hehe.Also i beat this level 15 guy with my level 12 rogue.He tried again twice and i got him again.Dual wield the dagger with attk 4 and the one with str 1.Also have that armor kit on and made all pieces by my self.
Phraust half of ur post was nothn but shit towards me but i dun wanna flame u on my topic:) .But man its gonan be really hard in WoW to camp something everything has many ways to get it.I heard there is a bag that has a parachute so i'm planning to get it so i can jump from airship right into ogrimmar hehe.
 
I thought 80 percent on my server was horde but nope u get that feeling cuz u see alliance rarely.Yesterday i was fightin this undead and two Humans showed up and started clappin at me and got ready to finish me off.As soon as killin the undead lol i used sprint and then sneak and they couldnt find me :)
 
I'm planning on getting the Sabots/Robe once I hit 50 (which is far from now..only..31..but yeh, can see how it's a pain...

Yeah I know...that's why I have a healer's earring for the -1 on hate control...I only have like 407 HP but my MP is at 910 :D

Fenrir is an issue, he is absolutely retardedly good, hell as a WHM I would want a SMN with Fenrir in my PT, but inorder to get him you need a party of 70+s mainly to have a real chance.
 
Which makes him incredibly frustrating and retarded. I mean it's one thing to consider me gimped because I'm not keeping up with my gear but a completely different ballgame to consider me gimped because I don't have a level 70+ job. It's taken me since Oct. 31st of 2003 to get to level 50 with a job I enjoy...nevermind with one I'm only mildly interested in.

Which is why I would not ever consider you gimp, there is physicaly no way for you to obtain him unless you can convince 5 75s to kill Fenrir for you, no easy task considering that involves getting all the whispers and what not. No amount of hard work can get you fenrir, unless that hard work is leveling related, but even then you run into the Fenrir issue still...
My only recomendation would be to stockpile on the whispers and crap ASAP, if possibale to get a prime avatar fight do so. Maybe one day as you get around 60 you will be lucky. I personaly hae been able to get a few Avatar invites from lvl 70+ parties as a mid 50s WHM mainly cause they had only like 4 people and they needed a port.
