Anyone know if any of the other servers have attempted this?

An inter-server record compitition? could bost on BG, we could totally start it by setting the first record.

A few ideas:

Most people on one ferry.

Biggest pile of dead bodies.

Longest /follow train of tarus.

Longest /follow train of people mounted on chocobos.

Longest time held claim on HNM.

Most monsters killed in one shot via AoE spell.

Shortest Besieged battle.

Shortest (insert HNM name here) fight.

Best SATAVB (to weak mobs count)

Best time for (insert BCNM here)

Most moat carps traded into one of the twins (they keep a total that keeps running, but gets reset on update)

Most Brown Magic points ( http://wiki.ffxiclopedia.org/wiki/Parike-Poranke )

Most people fit into the Kokba Hostel in Whitegate. ( http://wiki.ffxiclopedia.org/wiki/Kokba_Hostel )


I think it would add an interesting level of inter server competition, anyone know of any other records, most/longest/biggest/shortest/fastest ____?

sounds like a fucking awesome idea :D On Leviathan I used to have an LS that did crazy stupid shit like that all the time. We suicided on the elevators in The Metalworks once >_>

This was Date back in Quitita's LS... you don't remember? :P we wipe on Dynamis on the Heaven Tower from big ass Train before time ran out hehe

Biggest pile of dead bodies would have been Diabolo's update, 1st night. Was at least 100, possibly more ppl mass suiciding in that bc with 1-2 ppl capable of raising outside trying to make headway.

Though that is a pretty cool idea. For a single server it might work, especially quetz since we have these awesome forums.

But certain things would be hard to tell really, even with screenshots =p
 
Well I would definitely like to see how this turns out. I'll keep my eye open.
