will a translation be released?

Hopefully. Just as long as SE brings in decent voice actors for it to be dubbed and allows the option of Japanese or English voices, like Blue Dragons did. Well, seeing as how FFXII's and FF Tactics releases had a somewhat more Shakespearean feeling to it, SE will hopefully put alot of time and effort in making a decent translation of the text and voice acting... but they had better keep "YOU SPOONY BARD" in it!

Oh btw, I managed to get Cecil and Rosa to cast Ultima! ^^

You can get it on eBay. I got mine from Hong Kong for a low price and extremely fast delivery time.

Anyways, I've now got past the 1st section of the underworld and returned to the overworld. My characters are around average level 44-48 ish. The Voice actors certainly put a hell of a lot of emotion into this.

I'm just going to wait for an English release. I do want to play the game, however I want to be able to understand what the hell I'm playing. It has been a long time since I played FF IV on the SNES and I never did get to beat it, so I want to be able to fully enjoy the story. Plus since it seems like they added more to the story I want to be able to enjoy that and understand what the hell is going on.

Yeah, whatever. They had just better make the god damned Pink Tail room beautiful, as I intend to spend a lot of time there.

What was that again?

A room where you could spawn the Pudding Princess (Pink Puff, etc lots of different names) that dropped the Pink Tail you could trade for Adamant Armor. Oh and good news, there are like 6-7 new tails in this game to waste your time collecting!

You could spawn them 100% with some expendable item you can get throughout the game. I don't think the game hints at it at all, so I wouldn't blame you if you never did it.

Yes it was in the psx version. The enemy is insanely rare spawn so you pretty much have to use Alerts. Then the drop rate really sucks too.

How many people here who have the game are close to the ending?

Currently, I'm at the 2nd piece of the underworld, going to retrieve the final crystal.

I just now caught up to my original save after starting over, lol. So I just got Edge again.

I hate you both. </3

This game needs a NA launch date, naow.

bump.

Need some advice. I'm currently reasonably overleveled and I'm having trouble in The Giant of Bab-Il. Currently my party is around 55-60 and I was wondering what would be a decent level I should be overleveled at to continue on easily?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

(So much more awesome because its challenging! =) )

Advice: Follow my FAQ. Oh yeah, I should finish that, just need to write up a strat for Zeromus really..

Damn you gerry! I was hoping the next bump in this thread was the "English version confirmed for So and So date"

Reeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaally sorry about that =(

Anyways, where can I find this FAQ?

IGN, GameFAQs, etc?

I will hurt you Gerry.. ;-; They really need to announce this and DQIV-VI for NA release though.

I'd import, but only if games don't have a chance of getting localized, I really hope that's not the case here, although it may be with DQ titles... *sigh*

As for Rappa's FAQ, this one maybe? No Zeromous strategy yet, and it's the only walkthrough posted at GameFAQs at this time. Although he could have posted it to another site, so if he did my mistake.
