Soo... From top to bottom:
Windurst
Konschtat Highlands
Mheriphitaud Mountains
Misereaux Coast
Rolanberry Fields
Maze of Shakhrami

Anyway, sounds awesome :p

That first screenshot...reminds me of FFX for some strange reason...

Also, about the supposed screenshot showing a new race, it doesn't. While I'm a firm believer of Gria's being introduced, that one image shown clearly shows a human wearing a feather'dressed headgear.

Yeah, it really does just look like headgear doesn't it...I do hope they add more races though...and maybe even battles while riding a chocobo...Chocobo knight ftw?

On second glance, yeah, it is a feather dress, I couldn't exactly tell at first.

People thought it was a new race?

it isn't from the scans, its from the horned girl on the official website.

Those pictures were looking good till that last one. It looks like a super generic dungeon that someone half ass made. Like it belongs in a ps1 game.

I don't doubt the existence of more races, but also it seems like a pretty stupid move to publish a screenshot of said race before announcing it.
Once SE decides to announce a new race, it'll be done in some glorious manner.

Who is serious? Just commenting on what SE might do with ps3 "limitations"

It seemed like you were defensively picking apart my joke.

And I can tell you what SE might do to say "PS3 limitations." The same thing they did with FFXI - develop yet another wildly unoptimized game engine.

But then, cant you say that about most realistic looking MMOs? I mean, you can only have so many variations of plains, deserts, caves, etc etc no?

This is true that there is a lot of re-usage I was just kind of hoping for something new and fresh so it wouldn't feel exactly like XI. I want new zones to explore that doesn't feel like a re-skinning to XI I guess.

I just hope that we can finally jump.

Oh for sure, I agree with you in that sense, but I mean, you cant help BUT rehash certain things some times. I mean, they could always take the more extreme approach and make some off the wall zone (like sea and sky) more common........

And Baj, that started a whole new crazy argument in another forum about how it would have people lagging zones and doing stupid shit by bunny hopping everywhere XD

I just hope that we can finally jump.

I'd rather not. I never really liked jumping in MMOs, I'd rather the developers not put Jumping like that in. Besides, Dragoons already jump.

Yeah because spending 5 mins getting past that small stone in your path was so fun. This game seriously needs a jump.

You know, the only mammal unable to jump is the elephant. The same is not true in FFXI where apparently nothing but dragoons can jump.

Jumping has up sides and down sides, I will acknowledge, but I must confess to being a fan of it. Like the Limecat said, it makes movement a hell of a lot more convenient.

As for the issue of people just running around and jumping constantly, it's really not particularly different from people standing around and dancing constantly, and we've all seen that. Hell, most of us have probably done that.
