Finally! After 2 yellow birds...

I'd raised two birds before. StarAngel and ObsidianAngel. Obsidian really disappointed me since her momma was black, I'd so hoped she'd be black . She turned out yellow.

Well, from a egg I got from a ICNM that I did with the leads of Valor in what turned out to be that shell's twilight days...

BLUE BIRD!! I'm raising her as a racing bird btw; hope to teach her gallop and canter when she gets to be a adult. *runs to get the sharag greens*

Haha that's sweet! I know the feeling. My first Chocobo was black and the feeling I got was crazy, I thought I was the shit.

Huzzah! Pretty bird for you, just make sure you raise it right.

I'm pretty sure the coloring is completely random though, which is why I'm just gonna paint my bird one of these days. 50k vs months/years of chocobo raising....hmmm...

yeah, I think it is.

I was hoping it'd be colored, it was a ISNM egg after all..but I wasn't gonna go be bummed if it wasn't, like I was with ObsidianAngel. I was really bummed with that one, tho that bird is now racing to get me chocobucks for this one.

Grats eli! Yeah just make sure you get its str and end to be first class or else it won't be worth it really. Blue is a pretty uncommon color, although they're all pretty rare. Grats again!

A racing bird has to have first class STR and END anyway, Miru ^^ I'm aiming for STR first, abils and disc/resp at the end. It means she'll be top str/end and average disc/resp.

It makes such a bird a good riding bird as well as one you can get a pullus torque with

She grew up today!

I got a screen of her with stats right now, I put her on digging for 3 days, which will decrease endurance some. I'll make up for that with bucks later..Time to teach her abilities and I can't without her having average disc.

Yes you ride it. Tho mine still needs a lot of work before I can ride.

Str is now impressive, working on her end with bucks/tokens when I can catch the chocoshop guy. (Right now I don't see him) Planning on working on resp with the help of tokens and chocobucks, and I'm proly gonna do that fast.

Pardon the double post, but update on StardustAngel. She's done. No more frantic racing.

I might retire her early but proly won't this time. Gonna work on gil mostly for the next few days, then start making up a lot of speed apples to get her up in the ranks. Here's to hoping I can get that pullus torque!
