Finally mastered "Through the Fire and Flames" on expert in Guitar Hero III?

On August 21st you can download the DragonForce expansion pack featuring three songs exclusively for Guitar Hero III. It includes "Heroes Of Our Time," the first single from Ultra Beatdown as well as Inhuman Rampage classics "Operation Ground And Pound" and "Revolution Death Squad". You can download these through the Xbox Live and Playstation Network (US).

yeah but virtuoso pack was too easy and boring 4 me, this is more like it.
Too bad i cant play and save my scores until the patch comes out to fix that fuggin glitch, pisses me off that if i download anything i have to delete the most recent downloads if i wanna save, and i cant save when i have the new DLC installed.

And you found them too *easy*? Dang, so I guess you FCed all three. How's your index finger from tapping those trills in Surfing with the Alien?

i dont care about FC's, if i can beat them without failing a couple of times, they are easy to me. as for the trills...how is that even hard? i had no issue with them, and my index finger is fine, i play real guitar so my years of sore hands are behind me
 
Did you five star all three songs, then?

I asked about the trills because Surfing with the Alien's two monster trills are just a little bit on the ridiculously fast side.

edit: and i daresay if you found Soothsayer an easy pass you shouldn't have any trouble at all with Metallica, since most of their songs will probably be a lot like Soothsayer - really long and slow in the verses, except with slightly easier and shorter solo action. ;p

only song i 4 starred is soothsayer, but i deleted three packs until the patch comes out so i can save my scores, the only way i can keep track of my scores with the packs installed right now is in my online profile, id rather have my scores saved in my game. im not saying the songs are incredibly easy, just not as hard as TTFAF was to me. i like a challenge like that, it took me a week of practicing to get the intro, and almost 2 weeks just to complete it my first time.
virtuoso pack is good, just not the difficulty im looking for.
 
But the thing is, you'll probably never have that kind of challenge again since your overall skill level is so much higher now.
 
yeah, but i can hope. i mean, i still had a challenge, i could beat TTFAF but i couldnt five star raining blood, and i finally did that yesterday
 
Little note about that Soothsayer song. Its been FC'd already.



It took since the release of GH3 for someone to FC a few weeks ago yet it only took a couple weeks for this.

In my eyes, that makes Dragonforce much more challenging than Buckethead and more fun. Buckethead may be a great guitarist, but not to me by my personal taste
 
The guy in that video had an annoyingly loud guitar.
 
sounds like he plays like i do with alot of hard thumb down tapping, i kinda need to hear my clicks to know im on beat so i click hard, its probly from playing real guitar where i have to tap my foot to feel my beat, cant really tap my foot in GH so i use harder downstrums to hear my clicks...and it looks like he was right behind the camera so it probly amplified it more
 
Why can't you tap your foot in guitar hero, lol.
