First Accessory in the “Final Fantasy XI Players' Collection” ! (08/18/2008)

lol I'd definitely be using that Whitegate-Nashmau teleportation >.>

I second what Khajit said though. Stine bought me SE's Tonberry keychain/cell phone charm for Christmas last year, and his knife-wielding hand fell off after a week. I haven't been able to find it since :\

I'm afraid to move my FFIV figurines lol.

My FFIV figurines are in their boxes where I imagine what they look like and there they will stay.

I'll admit I was a slight bit distraught that there was a big lack of Dark Knight in that box, especially when there was a friggin' Freelancer in there.

Edge and Cid(FFIV) are chilling on my desk right now, next to Linebeck (A la Phantom Hourglass) and his little green rupee he guards with his life.

As for this item, if it were cheaper maybe I'd pick it up... At least with the Harpsichorde you not only got a bad ass furnishing (Which I heard about after the fact, unfortunately), but you also got what I hear is a great musical CD.
The necklace doesn't seem worth the money to me... But then, like other people have already pointed out, if someone wants to buy it then go for it. ^^

Edit: Just got home and watched the little flash video for it. It looks pretty neat, and if the teleport effect doesn't have some insane recast time... Maybe it is almost worth it..?

/shout <Teleport:Nashmau> $42.00 <Reward!>

Fuck that...

In the US (I'm fairly certain it goes for all of the US, but i could be wrong) you don't get charged sales tax for things that you buy online, and depending on the item, shipping has usually ended up being more in my experience.

You get charged for sales tax if you are in a state with sales tax, and whoever you're buying from has a physical in-state presence. If they have no real estate inside your state borders, there's no sales tax; otherwise you get charged.

$42 + $8 for something that's Silver-PLATED? And an In-Game Item with a 40 Hour Recast time?

With a billion and one ways to teleport around Vana'diel now, this item is merely novel at best.

I already shelled out $100 at the FanFest 2007 for a Bastokan Ring (look like an Astral Ring) made out of Silver and Yellow Silver. And some other random crap I gave to my GF.

The Ring was actually a good purchase. It's pretty, has the words The Republic of Bastok engraved on the interior. And it glints in the sunlight when I wear it.

I don't do pendants. A chain, maybe. But pendant? No.

If it was made from Silver, and not just Silver-Plated, maybe...

I don't want it to rub off on me when I wear it and turn my man-cleavage green.

I could be nice and offer to buy it for people upon the agreement they'd pay me back...

Have no way I'd be able to do this tho, without a bunch of false requests, or assuring the purchaser has my trust that I'd send the item/number either.

If ppl can find out a way to do this, just pay the original stuff, shipping and handling to send it to you, then I can do this for people who are unable to buy it.

I myself, most likely will not buy this...like above posters said...With OP warps and Runic Portals..this is basically an child's lazy-toy. =/

...Doesn't even look spiffy. =(

Just FYI - You don't get charged sales tax but you'll probably have to pay a use tax when you file your end of year taxes. That's how it is in CT anyways.

And on topic, it's funny how this makes SE RMT. Who am I kidding though? I purchased two. One for myself, and one as a gift.

40 HOUR RECAST!
Enjoy.

The recast wasnt on the website originally. it was later edited in.
