However assuming anyone who fishes or has good equipment, or good stats "cheated" to get them is pretty pathetic also. It's more or less a way of compensating for something that person disregarded to do themselves to make them feel higher in some way. Whoever it is spreading these rumors about me and/or Deci (i personally know he doesn't fish bot, or ever did) really needs to give it a break. From what I've seen none of them know me as a person or my standards. Bots are against my standards, and above all that, I ran a crafting LS which had a strict rule about them. Anytime I was fishing, or half the time I was just standing idly in one spot in Rabao during the cap craze because when I wasn't there, I wasn't fishing. Otherwise I would hook up the gamepad, relax on my bed, and play on my PS2. You'd be surprised how many people that fish are honest, there's more than you think.

But to point fingers and spread bad word about someone you don't even know yourself is pretty low too. If it isn't you, then it's people that know and relate to you, but so far anyone I've talked to (not saying any names) point to you, Mr. Liefe, High Summoner of Quetzalcoatl.

Everything I have in-game was earned by hard work and pointless hours spent (yeah so I have no life, I guess) instead of levelling because I want to have the best I can if it's at all attainable.

That's all I have to say about it. I can honestly say anytime I tried to ask you for advice you've been a prick to me, being the only SMN on the server with experience, so I've been forced to learn on my own how to do the job, and many other things about it.

I also find it funny how your first post ever on this board came after I threw out that bait post... and I had this feeling you would respond to it, or someone of your crowd would reveal that you are directly or indirectly involved with whoever it is that is anonymously posting. I can't believe I ever respected you, I'm sorry.

I do give credit where credit is due, however. So rest assured when someone does something noteworthy (and legitimately) I have no problem congratulating them.

I've not commented on my convictions of you here; it's not necessary. I honestly don't really care what (the random population of qcdn.org) thinks about you or your playstyle. Get an admin to compare the IPs, ISPs. While I do admire the irony of the post I can guarantee they're not me, nor was this something I initiated. Trust me lover, if it was, I would have done it much more eloquently.

im 1/20 on monster signa, i beat dia all the time, even redmages, voke's effectives ness somehow depends how close you are to the pop, trust me, i camped hoo mjuu for a week staright, maybe 3 hours of sleep a day,
 
i take my last comment back, dia is a full second to cast. flash is .5 i was thinking stunn and flash being the same cast time

And even if I was fish botting 24/7 as you think pointing fingers at Svina and I, there are many NA fish bots out there, and the JP's have been doing it for years, why the hell don't you go bug them? Is it just that your too ignorant to see what in front of you?

And speaking of JP's, why don't they care about fish bots? Why are select NA's so concerned about it but JP's could give a rats ass?

However I have come to these conclusions about why you are pissed off...

1. You can't make money and are jealous.
2. You got caught using a fish bot.
3. You buy gil online and can't stand that a fish bot sold it to you.
4. Your some crazy wacko that thinks fish botters hurt the economy.

If you picked option 4 then let me disprove you very simply... If a player is making money fish botting, they don't have time to make money any other way. So whats the difference between a fish bot and an HNM LS? Their both making money? One person is sitting there watching his screen or going afk for a few minutes at a time only to check back every now and again, and the other is... let me see.. doing the same SHIT! The advantage is HNM campers usually know the spawn time of the NM and only have to provoke spam for like 1-2 mins every 30 mins... the rest of the time they can go AFK if they want or watch their screen.

I could go on many other analogy's but I will leave it at that I think.

PS: In defending Fish Bots I am defending ATTENDED Fishing Scripts which is legal if read between the lines in the FFXI TOA. I do not condone the use of UNATTENDED Fishing.
 
Fishing scripts are not legal, not are ANY type of 3rd party programs AT ALL, get your shit straight, for the love of god, you know some people do play this game 24/7 like me, lol, and some choose to level all day, while watching tv, or w.e.

I don't see any of those little fish bots in Port Windurst even touching the AH... they sell directly to guild. The only fish worth selling to AH are fished in area's where you cannot effectively bot (like Ferry and Sea Serpent Grotto) and Moat Carp, which is primarily fished by low level fishers because it's not really worth it to high level fishing bots.

ABSENTEE PLAY
Basically, absentee play means that the player leaves the controller unattended for a long period of time while the character is doing something. The player needs to be able to react to anything that happens to the character during the game. If characters can be made to do things like mine or fish while the player is away, the game will be thrown out of balance. Players who have been engaging in absentee play will be reprimanded by the GMs. If you leave your game for any period of time, be sure to turn off any macros you have running.



So what is SE trying to say?

I think SE is being flimsy on this rule and not giving a straightforward definition because I don't think that they think its worth it to lose $12.95 + mules for every fisher out there that runs an attended script. Their trying to play both sides of the fence to keep everyone paying for their game and its obviously working because albeit some NA's like to bitch about it... I don't see you quitting and taking money away from SE.
 
By the way...(I wish there was a way to edit)... the only people controlling items are the rich high level JP's whom get all their money from max level crafts and HNM hunting. I don't know any NA's who are CONTROLLING the AH, and if their was I would be asking them to craft me some elemental beads hehe.

Not only that but if you compare Fishing to high level crafting or HNM hunting, fishing is not that profitable, fishers do not control the AH.

Here are some statistics to help you try to understand...

Lv100 Crafter: Can easily make a million dollars in 1 day... yes thats right... 1 day.

2 PT Alliance Camping Simurgh: 250k per player, if this Alliance is like most HNM alliances they will hit several other NM's in the same day and they get the drops.. think Roc, Behemoth etc... your looking at 500-600k per player.

Lv100 Fisher in Port Windurst: If they fish 24/7 throw away rusties and zone every hour (quite the task for NA bots since most don't know how to do their own scripting)... 400k per day max. And that means they need a 2nd computer and 2nd 12.95 account to play, which means their prolly monitoring the bot most of the time anyways and thats why they don't get banned.

Lv100 Legit Fisher on the Ferry: 60-100k per hour quite consistently (Titanictus, Silver Shark, Nebimonite)... I thought bots were supposed to be controlling the AH here! Wait a sec... the legit fishers can make more then the bots AND they sell their fish on AH... WTF?

Anyways I don't think this has to be explained any further and Im not very good at being a beligerant flamer. I just think everyone is exhausted with talking about this crap and I hope you just let it die.
