I don't believe her intent was to make you feel guilty.

I think she was trying so hard to make you believe they were her items, that she overdid it to the point where is was so obvious, that it felt like she was trying to push a guilt trip on you.

But yes, we are done. These are my opinions, and nothing more. Go eat yoru muffin and let this thing die.

And how this... thing... is still a "respected player of Quetzalcoatl" absolutely sickens me, and I don't even play anymore.

This is Classic Mish. This is the same person she was when I started the game over 2 years ago, and she hasn't changed a bit.

Mish in a nutshell:
Nothing happens, she whines and bitches.
Something good happens, she whines and bitches.
Something bad happens, she whines and bitches.
She gets caught in something unscrupulous, she passes the buck.

Seriously, read her public post history on QCDN. This post could have happened with a similar event or someone calling her out on being a drama queen and an attention whore. And it has. The only people defending her are friends she hasn't fucked over yet, the "pics or it didn't happen" brigade, and the devil's advocate trolls (surprised Firestreak hasn't shown up yet).

From her dozens (hundreds?) of "I'm going through a rough time in my life, so I'm going to quit, and I'm implying I'm suicidal so you all need to write good things about me so you don't feel guilty" and the subsequent "It's been a week and I'm back, how much did you all miss little old beloved me?", to where she flames her friends "Fuck you friends. You took time out of your precious lives to help me camp an NM, something that really only has real benefits for me, but you guys are kind enough to help me with it, but since you have a life, you can't stay up all night for the pop. And when it popped, you all weren't there, some friends you are, jackasses! Fuck you." that she tried to pass off as a "joke", how is something like this unexpected?

It's like being shocked that Neolink stalks and harasses people, and makes sockpuppets, or that Pandetech shouted a lot.

She's worse than RMT in my book. At least they don't go to any great lengths to hide who and what they are. Mish will ingratiate herself to you without doing anything, guilt you into doing something for her, but when it's time for her to return the favour, she screws you over. When it's time to show the same kindness she's received, she only has cold words for these people, unless she thinks you can and will do something else for her.

She's a parasite, a leech, and a disgrace.
As for why this thread was made so long after the fact, well here's a thought, and a comparison, one that'll especially hit close to home for our Canucks in the audience.

Excepting the fact that it's illegal, why did that man expose his juniour hockey coach for sexually abusing him so long after the actual incident happened?
1.) He was embarassed. Would also fit with this, since Neo was a huge "you idiot don't give out your info"
2.) He was shocked that this could happen. Also fits with Neo since he trusted her well enough to give her his account info.
3.) He wanted to warn the populace, and expose his offender for what kind of person he really was. Also fits Neo.
4.) He wanted to give a voice, and a place for other people who had the same thing happen to them be heard. What better place than the Flameboard. Actually, isn't that what the FB is all about?

In a very real sense, Mish violated Neo's char. It can't be undone, no matter how many apologies (real or fake) are made, it's left a scar on their friendship(not that it exists anymore), it's hurt Neo's ability to trust people, and something was done to him/his char without his consent. The only big difference I can tell, besides it being a GAME of course, is that the sexual abuse victim didn't have a private locker room, and didn't give the coach a key for it.

Somebody's gonna say (or has said) "she can't help it, she's just a victim, she has a problem, it's not her fault. does the kitten mean it when she scratches you?" And the response is, yes it is her fault, regardless of any problems she has. She makes a conscious decision to act the way she does. And if it's such a problem, can we stage an intervention to delete/ban her QCDN account and FFXI account+characters? Cause I think that'd be a big step in the right direction for everyone involved.
