mish's response is going to completely overshadow my offer of tidings and little cheesburgers, i suck at derailments

I think im gonna stay up till 5AM and comit suicide if neo doesnt date me

That's a low blow.

I call double standard, but that's an entirely different thread.

And i'm not playing devil's advocate i just think that's rough. The time for snappy one-liners is over.

I hate to say it Mish, but doing something like this again? I thought you learned your lesson after doing the same thing to Neogearzx, when you told me on AIM about it..

I would like to point out how Neo left out the personal things talked about in thier friendship as to not lash out. Mish, however, like a cat caught in a corner bares her fangs and tries to pull away from the subject at hand by attacking a conversation that (I dont believe) she had with Neo. I don't think anyone would kill themselves over you, Mish. Maybe kill themselves to get away from your constant whiney-complaining-boo-hoo-everyone-hates-me-Im-quitting-but-coming-back-twodayslater attitude. But no, not because they were denied the glory of being with one as ... special... as you are.

Maybe it was a little of both of how you said it happened. But people who resort to personal attacks typically do so out of panic for being caught and exposed. Maybe you should take a breather and consider how you react to things if you are so innocent.

"Wahh I quit", yeah, maybe I was that way nine or ten months ago. The break I took a little bit ago was just that - a break - and lasted about five weeks.

I'm not resorting to personal attacks, I'm stating multiple bits of conversation that he so coincidentally left out. I put up with a -lot- of bullshit from this guy, a lot of which I can't publically mention without possibly breaking the "RL" rule. I'm sure you won't believe a think I said though, since you still despise me for "scamming" you out of an Adaman Ore that you...didn't want. Oh right. I'm such a heartless monster.

Uh, that was this, I never had any such problem with Neogearzx. Get your facts straight, goddammit.

Consider yourself fortunate.

She returned everything, and did not try to trash you in the process. Which she could have done.

Several lessons should have been learned here. Don't give your friends anything more than your willing to lose. And if you actually steal something, don't expect that being nice after the fact will save you from getting smeared.

I'm bettin if she does this again, next time she won't be so nice.

At first the login wouldn't work, you're right. But I told you later that night that I'd gotten it to work. Furthermore, you've given me approximated 140000 gil, all of which I payed back within the week. This was during the time I was saving for...I forget what, actually, I believe Enfeebling Torque, but I instead gave up and went with Spider Torque and was able to pay you back right away. That being said, you haven't "given" me any gil to which I'd owe you for to this day.

Don't care. Money was nothing, I gave it to you willingly because you were a friend.

Mishaela said:
1. You knew I was able to login, as you lent me your SH twice before this horrid incident occured. You additionally gave me permission not to just borrow gil, but to borrow anything from your account I wanted as long as I notified your the next time I saw you on; you said it was fine since you were getting sick of trying for the Haidate and crap.

Negative, you hid it for Five months Mishaela. Five months. That's pretty disgusting you trying to weasel your way out of the hole you dug yourself in.

Mishaela said:
2. I didnt "rob you blind". I took two axes, a blau, dusk gloves and osode. I didn't take your Fuma, your PCC, your SH, your Haub, or any of that other crap. I didn't touch a single thing in your delivery box. I was gonna ask you if it were OK to do so since you'd been rambling about how you were erasing your character/account-cancelling that night but you wound up passing out in a drunken stupor. The next time I saw you on you were freaking out, saying how you were robbed. As Klank said, you're damn right I panicked, I felt like complete shit seeing you in such a state of shock.

"I only stole some things from you."

Mishaela said:
3. I apologized and IMMEDIATELY admitted I did it after trying to say it wasn't me, because it hit me that I'd feel more guilty sneaking it back onto your character than just saying "Yeah, I did and was gonna ask you about it later but was rushed since you were saying how you were gonna erase your character next time you were on" and such. I'm the one who told YOU that making some effort to do something behind your back, if only to correct an idiotic mistake, wasn't worth the risk of strain it'd put on our friendship. You forgave me, understanding why I panicked and such, only to come online a few days later drunken off your ass and bitching me out about it, demanding I "repent my sins" and forgiving me yet again before signing off.

LOL yeah remember what i said, mishaela? I NOTHING YOU.

Mishaela said:
Now you're resorting to making up some stupid twisted story? Seriously, get the fuck over yourself.

Mishaela you are a silly goose. I copy and pasted the whole conversation to a handful a friends. Guess what they all said? "Figures. she's always been on to wrapped up in the game."

Mishaela said:
I've stayed up til 5am in the morning trying to stave off your suicide threats if I not date you and follow your demands and other stupid bullshit.

Now now, let's not get into slander. That's a bit outrageous, though I am sort of an emotional drunk so I will give you that (I once went with a gay friend to party as his date, I'm a fun guy to be around when I'm drunk). But my demands? Date you? You always cripple up when I mentioned "fat girl", you've gotta be out of your mind if I wanted any of that action.

Please Mishaela, don't deny it. Who gets on someone's account to borrow things shortly before they quit and not say a thing about it? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller? My thoughts exactly.

I think you didn't read the part when I said "I don't care about the items.". The only thing I had worth losing was my friendship and there it went.

When she had told me about it she said she was going to let you know when you logged on. I suppose that's not exactly how it went down, but I really think she had no intention of trying to fool you. I've known her quite closely for many years, and this is the first time something like this has ever happened. I'm certain part of why she borrowed some things was for my sake, as we share equipment all the time.

Actually, I'd have to guess the reason she tried to cover it up at first was because I was wearing your gear because she had lent it to me. I gave it all back to her when I found out you definitely weren't cool with her borrowing them without permission first. I'm not gonna say what she did was right, but that I think she panicked and wasn't really trying to steal anything from you. That's my take on the situation, at least.

I'm certain she'll reply, she hasn't been able to get on the computer and read this thread just yet.

I don't know the details, I don't know the situation and frankly I don't want to. But one thing I do know is that it isn't ever ok to "lend" gear that you yourself have borrowed to other people. If it isn't your gear, as in you own it, are responsible for it, and have the right to dictate what happens to it, then it isn't yours to let other people use.

Also, maybe a friendship could have been saved by some honesty. If it's as you say and was as innocent as all that, then it could have been explained as simply with the truth that she, against probably good judgement, let some other person use his gear. Hiding it or lying about it would do nothing but confirm guilt in his mind.

Case in point: My RL boyfriend plays this game. He has access to the account of a friend we have both known since we started playing this game who doesn't play regularly anymore. I personally do not have access to that friends account nor have I asked for it. When I was in a gil crunch and needed to have some woodsmans rings on short notice, I didn't just ask my boyfriend to give me the rings. I sent an e-mail to my friend and said, "Hey do you mind if I borrow these for a while?" And when he said no problem, I did. And when he asked for them back when he needed them again, I gave them back and had enough gil at the time to finally purchase my own. They were in touch with each other by IM or e-mail, so there's absolutely no reason why they could have talked about it before she let you take his gear to use.

Again I don't want to take sides because no one but the two of them know for sure what went down. But something sure as hell doesn't sound right. And if it did go down the way he's saying well then that's a damned shame. And one more glaring reminder that giving your account to anyone if you're not like... sleeping with them is probably a really really bad idea.

Sorry to hear this happened to you Neo. It all around sucks and I'm glad you at least got something back when we hear so many horror stories about people who lose it all and end up with nothing.

Oh and for the record: My friends Rhadamanthus, Cami, and Mirewen all recieved undoctored aim logs from the night she nigga looted me. Let it be known.

Mish and I have a pretty high level of trust for one another. Example: We're no longer dating yet still trade our gear back and forth depending on what jobs we feel like playing that day (Hauby, Maneater, Juggernaut, Osode, Dusk Gloves, etc) so neither of us have any reason to distrust eachother in that respect. The only reason one of us might not get an item back is because the other isn't currently logged in and forgot to mail it before logging.

In my opinion, you learned this lesson the best place possible, be thankfull.

I have a hole in my pocket, from when I learned my lesson. The money while easy to forget compared to the betrayal doesn't make it a whole lot easier.

Every time something bad happens that you have brought upon yourself you always find a way to twist it around and never take the blame and just say "You know? Your right. That was pretty shitty of me to do." because you are obviously too drawn in by your own ficade of supposed innocense to ever believe you are capable of commiting an negative act upon anyone, yourself included.

You'd think after one person after another continually has a problem with you throughout your entire FFXI experience, you'd start to think "hmmm... maybe it really is me." You, my dear, are like the woman who gets married 7 times and always thinks its the man's fault. And I do not state this out of negative bias. Not at all. I think it would be healthier for you if you start realizing you need to change something or maybe rethink your moral guide lines of reality. Because obviously you have some sort of problem.

Give me a goddamn break. You've been talking about how you want to play mr. hero and shit after hearing about how poor my family is and crap, but every time I say I didn't like you that way you'd freak out, saying I was given mixed signals and such. And no, I'd not "cripple up" at the thought of you mentioning fat girls, sorry - I've joked about how "flat" I am with some friends quite a bit, and I somehow don't think someone who's overweight could possibly even have that.

And I'll repeat, I didn't do anything "horrible" to "poor" Neo. I already admitted I took some items without telling in advance (WHICH AGAIN, IN THE PAST HE WAS FINE WITH) but this time he freaked out. I was going to try to return it behind his back but wound up confessing to it because it felt like it'd be easier that way. If I was such a fucking supervillain like some of you are attempting to make me out to be, would I have returned it all immediately? Seriously, you guys need to get the hell of the site if you think that everyone's only capable of wrongdoing.

I've admitted my mistakes, no matter how minor, more than the majority of people caught in arguments on this site ever have. If you see me as some trailor trash who'd marry seven times, you obviously haven't taken a single thing I've ever said in my life to mind, because you couldn't be more wrong. I've said it a million times and the world knows it - I'm a bitch. I'm whiny. I make mistakes. We all make them. I've been wrong the in the past, and I've done stupid shit before. But I am not, I repeat, I AM NOT, a fucking thief.

The point of whether or not she trusts you is moot. The point is he else trusted her with his things. Not her and her list of people she trusts. It was a breach of trust between them for her to loan out his things without his permission. That was my point.

Funny, it looks to me like she was doing just that, here...

Although I didn't know the truth, I knew what Mish's response to it, when she read the OP, was gonna entail.

Something I learned from not living with my parents, but instead my grandparents, during my teens, was that the longer and more off topic the explanation/defense is for something, the more likely it's bullshit. The truth is quick, because you have nothing to hide and you'll always be willing to answer additional questions after you've said it.
