How the hell can you control someone by influencing their dreams? You can't--- well... Maybe you can...
*Flashes back to Nightmare on Elm Street 6: Freddy's Dead; The Final Nightmare...*
...Freddy killed all the kids and put all the adults under mind control... Remind me never to visit the town of Springwood, Ohio.
But yeah. I know SEGA's gonna find a way to screw this game up. I know they are.
Yuji Naka was talking about NiGHTS 2 in the Sega Dreamcast days. He kept saying "Yes... No... Yes... No... Maybe... Yes... No..." to making a sequel. Then said "I don't wanna make NiGHTS 2 because it's my 'baby', the same way 'E.T. The Extraterrestrial' is Steven Spielberg's baby." ... Finally, him, and about 10 Members of Sonic Team left to found a new 3rd Party game company called "PROPE"... He finally stated that he "Has no intention of revisiting previous SEGA properties." ... So SEGA goes ahead and works on this game.
Why couldn't they do this with Burning Rangers as well? Burning Rangers was a good game.
What pissed me off was that before Sonic Team left, they pumped out a whole buncha crap... They "took a fat dump" for lack of a better term... Shadow The Hedgehog, Sonic Heroes, Sonic Rivals, Sonic Pinball Party, Sonic The Hedgehog (2006), Sonic & The Secret Rings, Billy Hatcher & The Giant Egg, then they ruined one of my most favorite Anime series of all time by making "Astro Boy" into a crappy, watered down "NiGHTS" clone on PS2.
The only good Sonic games that have been out recently were on Handhelds. Sonic Advance 1, 2, & 3... Sonic Battle... and Sonic Rush. That's it.
"Sonic Mega Collection" was OK, even with the inclusion of "Ristar" (which was originally a tentative character Sonic Team created in the late 80's before finally coming up with "Sonic The Hedgehog")... But "Sonic Gems Collection" made me mad... They crammed it with a whole bunch of Game Gear games, put in the Box Art and Promo Art for "Knuckles' Chaotix" but didn't put in the game itself? What kind of garbage is that?
"Oh, let's put in Vectorman 1 & 2 instead!"... Yeah, that makes sense.
Vectorman was a good game, but it has nothing to do with Sonic... I'd have rather had Chaotix.
The point I'm trying to reach is that I know somehow SEGA's gonna find a way to run this into the ground for me. And then I will hate them forever and be forced to get in my car and take a 5 hour drive North out here in California and destroy SEGA of America H.Q. in San Fransisco myself.
