Its not strenghtening Tomasello's argument. Its not really tearing it appart either. All I explained were how teleporting mobs were possible.
However, that's a lot different from forcing a mob to be attacking you. That'd require tricking the server in to thinking you're somewhere your not, while still being at the very same place you're currently at on your own screen. However, doing this wouldn't benefit yourself, as the monster is controlled by the server. So if the server thinks you're right besides the mob, the mob would attack you.
Unless you somehow manages to to split the server in half, which would be similar to startign a time vortex and meeting yourself 10 years ago. No one knows how it could happen, and no one knows what would happen.
I'm serious. Chasym possibly had every hack in existance on his computer. Even some he made himself, and some currently unreleased hacks. His hack folder were a friggin' 2GB or something. Don't you think he'd have used a mob-teleporting hack while we were doing events, or a constant-bind hack in order to bind Seiryu through hundred fist when we did gods, if such hacks existed?
You're right that it doesn't strengthen or weaken his argument directly. However, the purpose of the example I brought forth was to denounce any opposition that such or similar hacks were nonexistent. Without knowing that such or similar hacks are, his proposal to be open to the possibility of hacks unknown, or that cannot otherwise be directly observed through the presented medium, would be null. My goal, then, was to clear up any oblivion. You, by having detailed my example, furthered that goal, thus preventing his argument (or at least a part of it) from becoming totally invalid.
As for the illegal executable (saying hack so much gets jarring) you've explained, I quoted part of what you said stating that the monster would warp with a pos-hacking player after it has aggro'd during some milliseconds. Aggroing is followed by [the monster] attacking [the player]. I guess I wasn't clear enough, so I'll rephrase what I had said: the monsters were not attacking when it appeared in front of the RMT. Knowing this, it obviously didn't match the prerequisite of aggro. Now this of course would be circumvented if the monster would disengage during the time changing positions, if that's how the hack works. I know I don't know how they work exactly, so note I'm just being open to such possibilities.
And to answer your last question: I don't know. I don't know Chasym. However, when he confessed it out loud here at QCDN, I remember him saying he had a lot of hacks and didn't really use many of them because he admitted they were extremely unfair, obviously ruining the play experience for him. Note:
for him, since having a fun experience is subjective to each individual, so whatever illegal executables he used, he used. Now, other than the purpose of selling such hacks, I too don't see a reason for keeping that much of it. That's your question as well as mine.
