Also, would you be kind enough to cite the "others" who think mobs could build resistance to bind? Going back through the topic to find that post of mine just now, I didn't come across any such thing.

(Well, Tailss did mention that certain CoP BC/ENM mobs, and NMs, can do it, but that still invalidates your "it works for everything" bit. Plus you personally went and shot down that one thing which was the closest bit to supporting your argument that you got.)

Correct me if I'm wrong but it looked a great deal like you were making a blanket statement about built-up resistance on all mobs, for all enfeebles other than Dia and Bio. Therefore, if that blanket statement is true, it could be demonstrated on any mob, up to and including a level 1 mob.

I just think spells land too well. Especially Bind. As long as you can't prove he DOESN'T hack I don't have to shut shut cause your no more right then me. There's no way to tell from the vid, can we agree, how many times he's done it. But we can draw conculsions whether he hacks. We just happen to disagree.

Other then a Dalmatica which wouldn't affect Bind or Crimson Body which Errant Body is a pretty good sustitute then ya, I do.

And even if I had the same exact gear I couldn't do it. I don't think anyone can. Maybe I'm a pessimist I don't know.

If he does it for 8 hours on the same mob then maybe I'll reconsider, otherwise he'll need to find a juicy IT++ to convince me there's no difference in 30 mins.

If mobs build up sleep resistance, they build it up at a constant rate regardless of relative level. Only difference that a higher level mob would have is that on top of the built-up resistance, you'd also get more full/partial resists to begin with, meaning you'd have to recast more, so it'd show up after the same number of castings but less overall time (because of the time shaved off by the full/partial resists).

And the effect is quite noticeable after only a few sleeps, much less 10 minutes of them. Bind has a longer duration, so 10 minutes might not be *obvious*, but it should still be easily *timeable*.

8 hours is a bit ridiculous, especially when the burden of proof is on *you* (making the unsubstantiated claim) to convince everyone *else* (going with previous common belief).
