Okay, so I made a joke, and it was against the rules, but it was clearly a joke. However, I won't argue if the mods want to give me a 5day ban, because yeah, it's against the rules.

I did, however, make the attempt to apologize, but it seems you're going to disregard that and instead start some controversy. I think the difference between my comment and yours, Meeze, is that I think it was pretty clear my intent was a joke, albeit a racist one.

No rule is ever made without some shades of gray, rules are left to be interpreted by those that enforce them, and it's up to the mods to use their judgement.

Edit:: However, I will say, if racist comments are going to be bannable transgressions, then so should any other offensive comment. It's unfair to "us white folk" because if someone calls us a cracker, it's funny. Also, I will be sure to report when anyone offends me.

Meeze does have a point there. Where's the post you did that they wanna ban you over?
 
It had nothing to do with you, it had to do with the idiots in green. Shit, my racist comments are jokes too, I'm not really hanging black people.

Yeah, I know.. I'm just saying, there -is- some grey area there, ya know? Rules aren't cut in dry, they're left open to interpretation. I'm of the belief that the intent of the comment means everything.
 
The rule is pretty black and white. I don't see how you can say it's even remotely gray. Not really sure if it's worthy of a ban, but hell, like you said, it's a rule.

Well, most of what I say is a joke. The problem usually isn't even the person I'm directing it towards, it's usually the sideline bitches.

The mods seem all eager to boot me, but will hold others to different standards.

I even had a joke I made that wasn't racist get deleted...and it was in the fucking flameboard (see sig).

The rule itself is pretty straightforward, but I firmly believe the intent dictates whether or not the offense should be punished.

Well yeah, obviously... Hitler thought that the jews were a taint, so he attempted to cleanse the taint. The severity of the action can dictate whether or not the intent should be important but... Come on, it's a damn joke, even if it is racist. I laugh all day at white trash jokes, 'cause they're just that, -jokes-
