I don't play anymore so no need to check those boards but I noticed it so I figured I would let you know thanks.
 
As people said in the FB thread (maybe here, too, havent read all the posts) would it be possible to get a darker color swap for Element? I only actually have 2 beefs with the new skin. The first obviously being the color. The second is not as managable...

Edit before finish... Just checked, I see that recent posts are no longer displayed on the front page... Thats what my second complaint was going to be :p

But yeah, a different color Element would work wonders. Darker, preferably, maybe even the same color pallet as nightshift?
 
If Element doesn't work for you, we still have the nightshift one available.
 
Only issue I have is the white don't really go to well with the violet. Change the color of the white to a darker color should be fine.

edit: and make the native font color black

I have a lot of skinning experience and i'm willing to create a new skin for the sake of peoples eyes.

Maybe, if enough people know how, we can hold a skinning contest. Make something out this thing.
 
actually may not even need change the colors if you just make the native font color black make all your font stand out better on the forum.

Issue think he has though is he want it to be able to transgress through newer versions. Which would mean who ever made new skin would need to continue to update it every version update? Least that what I got out of Reeve post on the FB.
 
Oh also changing the main page new post icon to a yellow page instead of a dark purple page be good to. It a working progress though:cool:
 
All of the problems mentioned in this thread can be fixed with time and patience.

FYI - Reeve doesn't have plans to fix up Nightshift to be updated.

Reeve own Shinra Online as well does he not? If so, how come that forum look so much better then ours lol? Also how does that lvl bar work? For those don't know what I'm talking about see here.
