weird, my password was only 7 characters long, and I didn't have any issues. I just changed it to meet the requirements though.

nvm i had a friend log in as me momentarily...

i changed my pws under the second screen that pops up after you enter the member password.

I'm assuming they dont change at that very instant you change your playonline password

I was on hold for 3 hours with livechat. I asked the guy why they didnt inform us of this change, and he said that they told us VIA the update notes and POL.

I asked him: so are you stuck helping people like me all day?
His answer: yes i am.
me: well dont you think S-E could have done a better job of telling us?
him: i guess more steps should have been taken toward informing the public.

What an idiot company. They tried to make it more secure for us, and royally F-ed themselfs over with all these calls for support. Idiots.

Yar~ I'm back. Glad everything isn't hacked. It just happened last night and it freaked me out big time, although I checked my e-mail and nothing was there. Go figure. I guess I'm left without a PW because I don't have my origional serial keys due to moving 4 times... failtastic day.

they where too similar and had only 6 letters anyway
