In all the time I've been on these boards, I've never had a reason to butt heads with ya Mish, but I'm afraid this time I must.
Frios is a member of my social LS whose sole access to anything web-related is through the PS2. I along with several other LS members made him aware of this thread, and I had him send me the following response through several friendlist messages:

For the past few days there has been a comment about my behavior and game ethics.. The event in which this sudden controversy started, is as follows:
I was trying to make a pty for xp, but there were no tank jobs online at the time. So I asked this RDM if he/she wanted to duo lesser colibri until a tank job became available to party. his/her response was, "Sure I suppose. ^^" So then we began to fight lesser colibri.
xp wasn't that horrible, it was average xp for duo'n DC and EM mobs. but we were killing fairly quicky and very safely. Then about 20 min into the duo'n I lose connection and D/C... I play on a PS2, not the fastest console in the world, so it takes me about 3-5 min to get logged back online,
So when I do get back online I send the RDM a tell apologizing for the D/C, and asked if she were ok because when I D/C'd it was during a fight. I received no response from the RDM. I sent several more tells apologizing for the untimely D/C. still no response.
Then I get a pty invite from a warrior, went xp'n for a couple hours in Mount Zhayolm had an OK night, completely unaware that I was bein written about so rudely and unjustly. Seriously,... malicious intent? If anyone thinks I am out there to prevent anyone from advancing or having a good time while playing FFXI they are a fool. if anything about this whole issue is malicious its the attack on a persons character in a place he cannot access, especially when there was absolutely zero attempts at resolving this between ourselves. I am truly sorry that D/C happens to us all, and we all have to deal with it. Getting angry at someone for D/C'n is absurd.

Now, for my own part, I've known Frios for over a year and during that time, I've never known him to be anything other than friendly and helpful, and never, over all the time we've been online doing missions together, LS chatting, etc., have I ever
once suspected him of being capable of some of the actions you're accusing him of here, nor have I heard anyone else characterizing him as being underhanded or conniving.
Yah, I know - friend defense . . . but you know what?
Sometimes the friend defense has merit. Care to know when it does? When it goes toward establishing character. In court, they call it the friend defense a "character witness." After all, if the prosecution(Mish) can assassinate someone's character before the jury(qcdn-ers), then there should be
someone allowed to "defend their honor," so to speak, and be given whatever weight and consideration the jury feels they're due.
Foremost among the things that go into being a credible character witness is the reputation of the witness himself, and not to blow my own horn here or anything, but over the three years I've been frequenting these boards, I have always tried to be a positive influence. I've done my best to be helpful and willing to impart any knowledge I might have come into.
Now please forgive me for saying so, but you, on the other hand have shown a tendency to knee-jerk react/flame, sometimes with cause, sometimes not. Before now, it's never been any skin off my back, but I couldn't let this one pass uncontested.
So for all you reading this, I simply ask you - is it more likely that:
A) The contemptible, lying, force-dcing Frios has escaped the attention of everyone that posts on these boards, myself, and my LS mates while he's leveled Blm and Pup both to 60+(and Lord knows how many to subbish level), or
B) This is another case where Mish has judged too quickly, posted in anger, and blown some things up out of proportion?
And that's all I have to say about that.
