Im assuming this is for Brd JSE? Then No. If Rdm is your "Main" then the cashmere would go to someone else that has Brd listed as their "Main".

And there is no "lotting" in end-game. The leaders decide who gets what based on several factors such as need/attendance/etc. This is pretty much universal from what I have seen in all shells.

Depends on if there are other BRD in the LS, thing is if your LS does Vrtra, they'll probably do it again, or you can wishlist or buy a subligar and try your hand at that. But chances are if theres a full time BRD in the LS, it'd probably go to them first.

I'm all for helping the LS, I spend 90% of my time helping my friends and asking for nothing.. but... endgame "isnt easy" it's hell.. all I hear is the drama and the dedication required.. to get nothing? No, the hands.. nifty. Okay what's your REASON to go on after that? If that's the ONLY item a blm would get.. why do so many BlM stick around?
This "for the good of the LS" bullshit doesn't fly. No one gives a majority of their life 100% selflessly. Period,

Wow seriously have you even done end game?? if you dont know what your talking about please dont post... some jobs are just not end game friendly, live with it or lvl another job that is. There is not much gear out for black mages in sky anyways besides A hands and im sure many blms in the game have just decided to suk it up, or lvl another job that is sky friendly.

As for nikki's reply its funny why would we suit up a player thats been gone for soo long?? what use it is to us?? and the ls? give you a B hiadate and be inactive? commense sense. Ill say to you like i said to you countless times before you came back. You where brought
up for the hidate showed up to sky that day it didnt drop?? and then where did you go inactive.. its your responsibility to keep up ur attendance when you are inline forsomething, not show up no drop and go inactive and then come back demanding we give you soemthing after you have been gone for 3-4 months soo i dont get what ur getting by flaming bol, other then just getting back at us since you where droped off the list for going inactive w/o any kind of notice.

If there is another bard in attendance, no, you would not get the cloth. We would gear up your Rdm, and then another deserving Brd would get the cloth.

I'd never expect it before a bard main, but ... from what I hear bard are VERY rare.. so I'd figure if it was done enough times ... it's a simple question, I dont want variables.

RIGHT THERE! You are your own problem. If everyone was more selfless, there would never be any drama in ANY linkshell. Forget BoL, because BoL definitely does have problems, this goes for EVERY end-game LS out there, Dynamus included.
 
Well, it's not like the BLM cant use other pieces of Zenith, but the hands have an attack bonus, and so that's basically what their in it for.
They still get other pieces it's just they focus mainly on that.

No. I can tell you a handful of people that tell me they want "so and so item", it doesn't mean anything if they don't show up.

It's not a hard concept. You tell a leader your main job. They suit that job up.

Btw, if you hepled someone for more than 30 hrs, they say nothing..... 2 months after when u wanna go back and help them and just ask will you be able to get any reward laters on, they said sorry you wont get anyting there since u are a stupid RDM with full gear and we only want u to be rdm. Should we kill all the Age60+ ppl who doesnt have ability to work now? Yeah they builded up the word for us a century ago but they are useless now so why do we keep them? /sigh

Back to the OP though, is this what I have to look foreward to in end game? My buddy Chasym has been trying to get me to consider applying for OH, but I just dunno. I really don't play the game to deal with all this BS. Especially if there are a good amount of people in those shells like Shaidalyn.

I have to reply i'm sorry but on your application when you applied to BoL yes you applied as a RDM so there RDM was put on roster as a MAIN job.

You also have been gone months and you cant say I didnt get in touch w/ you after doing a /sea all for those months to find out where you went and I talked to you about being inactive.

You dont attend farmings, you dont attend kirins or ls events and show up once in a blue moon for God pops. This doesnt make you a top priority to get anything when you have people show up consistently and you whenever. If you wanted to be a ninja why not apply as a ninja or post please change me to ninja main. I mean come on if your on boards so much you would have seen us tell you that we have 2 spots open for ninja, and you would know if you read the rules and posts that are made.

After you posted goodbye yes I took removed you from full access from the forums, Then today you finally show up after 8 days come in ls and started w/ not having access and just break my pearl so I did as you wished.

As for the last O-hat run you wasnt around Vang and Bogie tanked the last 1 your talking about months ago right after you joined. And asking you to use 1 of your other jobs doesnt make it your "MAIN" Job. The one you applied with did.
 
Nikki, we would've been more than happy to suit up your ninja if you told us. You got in touch with no one about which job you wanted to main. Oh and we kicked you because you said to break your pearl.

don't know if this has been addressed yet but I can understand advancing one job. You choose one main job you want to get the best gear on right? this way you don't have one person with all the good gear for 4 jobs while people that only have 1 job they care to advance has no good gear. It's a way to be fair I think. It's just greedy, in my opinion, to want the best gear for another job of yours when there are still several others that want good gear and only one job they use and want to improve and that main job they want to improve is the same as one of the, say, 4 that Nikki has.

And about your RDM comment.. it also seems a bit greedy to me to lot on something as rare as duelist gear if you don't intend to main as RDM :P chances are you'll main as another job and wish to use that job more (and if it's a BLM or WHM or PLD or another job endgame that becomes incredibly useful in all instances of endgame) than that Duelist gear that a RDM wants that mains RDM might not get it and it'd go to waste. Frankly I liked Courtney's idea with lotting for dynamis "don't intend to use it or really want it, don't lot it". It's something I go by which is why the only RDM AF2 I lot on in the cities would be San d'Oria's cause of the boost to the MBs I might do (but that's not often so I don't lot on it cause I don't need it or want it badly). The other AF2 I would want are the Tabard (for claiming and solo-ing and if I need to erase a PLD fast) and the Duelist Chapaeu (if you don't know why you don't know the stats :P)

all I can say that is, if your not deicated player, and have no life what so ever, you can be recuit in BoL :D if you just join in for your needs, and not doing anything after, you been look for another end game LS lol
