Funny BoL

I know Firestreak, I can't believe we would give Haidate to a warrior that always comes over someone stated as a rdm that's been inactive for two months. You'd think we had some priority rules in place. :P

No but seriously, the fact is that we would have given the haidate if Nikki was gonna start showing up, that was never the problem. He never told us what his main job was going to be. It only takes a few minutes to write it up. We tried to resolve the situation in the "Good Luck"(Which we interpreted as a good bye post) post Nikki made but he never gave feedback. He then logs on and asks "Am I kicked out of the LS?" and the few members that were online said "You left, didn't you?" to which Nikki replied "Okay break my pearl then"... and Pheebe did just that.

As far as Watch lotting on 2 A.Hands, we were running a point system, and it was situations such as that and a Pld wanting to lot on N.Body over a Thf that made us switch to priority. But in the end it was a fair lot. Maybe not morally fair, but it was fair.

Hey, again in the "Good Luck" thread that Nikki posted, we asked Nikki if he/she/it wanted to switch "mains" to Nin and gear that up. All we got was silence until this flame today.

Well I was ahead of Darienn on the Wyrmal Legs. She got before me because our Kirin ran late and I had to leave after the pops to join my CoP static. But if I had been there, yes I'd have gotten legs first.

Who the hell is to say who should get gear first because of main? I already had my blackmage gear, if I want my paladin I shouldn't have to throw away my Blackmage gear and come paladin only. Sometimes you just don't need another paladin. If I can earn it I should get it, end of story. I earned it, I got it, not one person would have complained. Many actually thought I should have gotten it before Grayswander too but that's not really relevant. On a side note I believe within the same couple weeks of W Legs I got a nobles too...

If you want to say, "You don't get haidates because you're inactive and don't deserve it yet." Say it. I don't know Nikki's attendence. I don't follow her active/inactive cycles. I'm just commenting on the particular argument that some in your shell have been making on this thread.
 
And why shouldn't Alanon get Dark Knight gear if he shows always on blackmage. You need dark knight in sky more than BLM? Have him come dark knight. If you need black mage more, give them what they want. Maybe Alanon isn't asking for it, but christ it's a game and you are a LS member but you're also a human being. Don't crucify yourself to make a god damn point. Don't give the things you deserve to someone else if it's your turn. Black mages are so easily turned into damn mindless tools. Don't want to be selfish??? This is endgame, we're here for items. We aren't curing cancer! If some LS Dark Knight has to wait behind you, and does 5 less damage per hit in his exp parties, the world will not explode. Let him earn it, maybe he'll stay in the linkshell longer instead of leaving earlier the second he gets it. God people piss me the fuck off! Stand up for yourself!!!

Potentially very clearly your argument and not at all the arguments of others. If you agree with me that with good participation a person RDM and NIN should be able to get Nin gear.... then we simply agree and the point of this argument is therefore useless. Therefore it's not you that I'm arguing with.
 
The server is slow because assholes get all their sky gear and leave, forcing people to return to sky longer for the replacements, then older members who have been helping forever get sick and quit FF or endgame. Then you have to replace more people, and it's a god damn endless cycle. And of course people prefer a LS member with all their sky gear because they're all set and ready to a new member who is potentially more loyal by virtue of the fact that the former someone has sky gear and no linkshell.

Main Job is being used way too often in this thread...

We distribute gear based on Job Priority > Level > Dedication... and while Main Job does fall into top priority if the said player with Job Priority is not dedicated enough when compared with someone without Job Priority then the roles are reversed.

Our main goal in this LS are to gear people up with a balance between job usefulness and how consistent/loyal the player is to the LS.

It's too bad to lose Nikki.

Are you the same 75 RDM that left ESP because we wouldn't let him/her lot on the Haidate over the WARs in the LS? Or was that Nikky? Both 75 RDM, thats just confusing.

nikky is 75 war (maybe 75 sam also). he's a member of valkyrs.
