Funny BoL

There's something here that needs to be specified in terms of job priority.

There are two very different priority schemes to look at. One, the priority of a player based on multiple jobs and the LS' preference for RDM. And two... the priority of a specific job. E.G, Seiryu Kotes, a Ninja versus a Monk. Who needs 15 agility 10 ranged accuracy more??? I'm all for giving a person with multiple jobs priority IF THEY EARNED IT(which apparently Nikki didn't), but I'm not for giving a Whitemage for example A Hands over a BLM cause they were more active. What is the specific distinction here?

The one that was in ESP.

Then I can get a good laugh out of this because he/she said the exact same thing to us. How "unfair" it was. Well how fair is it to the people who will actually use it effectively that have been in the LS longer?

So because you leveled Blackmage you should never be given any gear for any other job you're likely to use less?

You're tacking on two independant arguments here. A person being in the LS longer, more deserving, ext is one aspect that no one is arguing against. What of the other?

Not when there are people that have (for Ex.) a WAR at 75 that have been in the LS longer that attend events more and that don't yet have the item. That would be incredibly selfish of me.

Please, I've been trying for these last three pages to ask a very specific question and people are either not paying close enough attention or prefer not to answer.

Ah, I'm talking about when he left because Arkaine and Bjornar were lotting on the Haidate and he thought he deserved it more. Thought this was basically the same situation.

And of the actual question. When you tell a person, they are moved down the line for an item based specifically on the fact that the job the LS needs them more on doesn't need it, ignoring all else, is this right? Not based on how useful the item is for their job, but as what the LS prefers they come as. This is an important blackmage question, and obviously you know why.

People are allowed to have gear for secondary jobs they don't use for our LS, but they will not get priority on it if someone who uses the job for our LS and has approximately the same dedication/seniority level or higher is in need of it as well.

If the person doesn't want to play the job we need them for or doesn't want any gear for it, then they should switch their main job to something else. We give our players that option.

Yep. Which is why Ive never gotten anything for BLM in the LS because I declared NIN as my main job and come to all events as NIN unless Im needed as BLM.

RNG I never come to anything as, but would if I really had too.

'Cause you got your A Hands and abjuration given to you from another LS you left. Because you didn't approve of their system that favored job priority and prefered BoL's old points system. Ironic isn't it?

heh, I faintly remember a flame where somthing similar to this happened in RESP

That was because Francheska joined and got Haidate after 2 weeks and made me feel like dedication in the short term was taking priority over dedication in the long term.

Furthermore, I realized I wanted equipment for my NIN soon and figured if people could just join and show they can be more dedicated then me over a 2week period and get a piece of equipment before me that maybe things were not being run as fairly as I wanted.

I was also new to sky and naive to the organization it took to run a end game linkshell.

And what level was your Ninja at the time?

72, but that was not my point... it was Strid who was 75 and waiting for it... and altho he got it then quit the game shortly after proving it might of been a bad choice anyways.
