Hmmm... I couldn't disagree more. Don't get me wrong, as I posted earlier I dont mind galka mages. But too assume that taru/mithra/humes in general somehow have poorer MP management than the melee oriented races is as ridiculous as assuming that galka are bad mages.

Galka are disadvantaged mages. Yes, a hurdle that is easily overcome, but it's there. Let's not somehow turn that into an advantage by using the same "racist" logic as those claiming they would not invite a galka/elvaan caster.

It would kind of be similar to me saying... "Oh, taru make the best melee because we have the lowest HP and therefore know how to tread the hate line much better than everyone else." Which is garbage really.

You know that's not why, it's because Taru are too weak to hit anything hard enough to take hate, amirite?

They should have put in racial HELM bonuses. Galka Mining, Elves Lumberjacking, Mithra Fishing, Taru Harvesting, Hume Global Dominationing.

I had a 4 galka party today, with the galk's being MNK (me), SMN, WHM, and THF. It was pretty damn good. Both the mages never ran out of MP, even with no RDM or BRD. They were both excellent at their job.
