Game crashed while getting Sanction

my game crashed when I try to get sanction...
anyone else has this problem?

anyone knows how it can be solved?
 
I had that problem when using the windower, back to fullscreen you go!
 
There's a basic windower on the website, no plugins or scripts or anything, but it's supposed to stop that crashing bug.
 
I have yet to crash, so I guess I'm happy I am using the old out of date version <.< going to try for signet now...
Edit: Just got Signet, no problems.

Only notable problem with Windower 3.2 is that alt-tab only works when Windower is in "front". Basically you can alt-tab out but have to click back in (or click around to other windows). Particularly beware of doing this when looking at /rmap or /bmap, due to loss of mouse pointer control.
 
Windower light breaks your gamepad when you alt tab out of FFXI. So if you use one it's pretty worthless.

Crap, I use a ps2 gamepad ; ;

Does 3.2 work just fine with gamepad?
 
was gonna post taht gamepad doesnt work but yeah everyones noticed..
I died trying to fin autorun and whats really pathetic was id taken less damage from the hq NM version of the monster I'd died to minutes earlier on ps2. I hate keyboard controls on pc....

I read if you just swap in the "hook.dll" from 3.2 to your 3.22 folder it works as a temp fix as well, works for me just fine, be sure to save the 3.22 hook.dll though just in case.

minus the fact that opens you up to some heavy unwanted security issues since they are two different versions in the same wrapper lol i wouldnt reccomend it!
 
I have no idea what you mean Chasym, please ellaborate on the security issues ^^;

look around in the fourms, someone posted a link in the "official" problem thread. Its since been checked out by people and is safe to download.
 
Heh, I happened to have a copy of 3.2 still on my computer, and it's working fine, just no plugins.
