This is precisely why as several people have said, that you don't NEED those violent games to have a successful console. You can keep silent hill and Resident Evil, I'll take Mario Kart anyday. The only reason I didn't like wind waker is because I freakin' hate cell shading.Direwolf said:Xelos said:I love all three console systems. Not to be an ass but, Nintendo lacks violent and scary games and it is so far behind PS2 and X-Box it is kind of sad. That kinda shoots the theory to hell.
I plan on getting a nintendo JUST for the cool new Zelda games, not the pansy windwaker one.
Actually, my friends and I play mario party over halo every time. It follows Nintendo's trends for games: great gameplay, but little realistic violence/gore. Fuzion Frenzy is just a POS xbox rip off of mario party, so obviously that genre is doing well for xbox to copy it.Direwolf said:There is no way they could hope to go against the sheer violent nature of Halo and Grand Theft Auto. Cause guess what, kids just want to kill their friends in violent ways, not beat them in mario party.
