Ok, for everyone who isn't familiar with how this works, here's the quick version:

I'll be posting various screenshots, videos and audio clips from games that are from game systems that are probably older than some of our members here, and from the newer consoles as well, and everything I can think of between. All you have to do is provide the correct answer to the question at the time, it could be as simple as just identifying what the game is, or something as complex as to name the three main characters and what the comic relief character's pet was named in a specific game, I will be sure to point out what the actual question is every time I put up a new question to avoid confusion.

The questions will be in the following format:

*Console name: ------
*Game name: ------

<insert content here - video links/audio links/images/questions>

*Next console: ------
*Next game: ------

Scores: ------

*Note: These may be blanked out if they are going to be part of the question, it'd be pointless for me to post a question asking what console a particular game is on if I told you the answer before you got to the actual question XD.

There are still going to be bonus questions, I may make some of them even more difficult than before, I laughed pretty hard when I made some outrageous ones that were easier than they looked in the past. On the note of the previous three trivia games rounds: I've had them moved and hidden for now until this round is over because I'm going to reuse a bit of the old material and I don't need cheaters :P.

Scoring: Quoting an answer will not count, you've gotta type it out in your own words, even if it's as simple as just typing the game's name. There will be point deductions if someone repeatedly ignores this rule.

There are some games that have sub-titles to them (example: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3: the Manhattan Project), these titles can be long and tedious, I will accept either the main or sub-title for games like this (in that example I would accept Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3 or TMNT: the Manhattan Project or something like that), as long as it's plainly obvious what game you're trying to say for your answer. In some cases, I will require the entire name of the game, sub-title and all because it's much easier and there may or may not be a # in the series to define it.

A note on edits in answers: as long as your answer is right by the time I see it, I don't care how many times you had to edit to get it right, just remember that there will eventually be wrong answers, so copying an answer may not be the best course of action .

If for any reason you want to know anything about the materials in this trivia game or past trivia games, please PM me about it, don't ask in this thread, I'll get distracted and it could be violation of QCDN rules.

I can't think of anything else at the moment, be sure to check here in the OP for any edits to the rules I may have forgotten, I'll be sure to make a note of any changes when I make them.

On to the game!

Console: PC

Here's a game based off of a "cult classic" set of films, this was the most recent game they had made in this series in the past 2-3 years and it actually featured Bruce Campbell doing the voice acting as well! Name this game, sub-title and all.

Very close Pupusa, it was Evil Dead: Regeneration.

Game: *
Console: NES (Nintendo 8-bit)

This NES title would be way too easy to identify if I gave any clues XD.

Note: things are not as they seem, I did this in a previous round, but you can't look that up for now :P

One of the most disappointing, and annoying games of all time.

New Ghostbusters II it is :P

Ghostbusters II was a tough game, I'll give it credit for that, but the real answer was The Three Stooges (click for the video).

Console: NES (Nintendo 8-bit)

This is an easy one, it's one of the very few games that actually could use the 4-player multitap on the NES.

Nightmare on Elm Street is correct, on to the next one we go!

Game: Blaster Master
Console: NES (Nintendo 8-bit)

Here are all the bosses in the game, tell me which level you fight them as they are pictured here: (example - #1 - level 7, #2 - level 3, etc...)

Remember: list your answers in the order they're shown to avoid confusion, if you think #8 is level 3's boss, make sure that's what you put down for your answer, the numbers come just before/above the image.

God I remember that game, I was playing it recently with a friend, so maybe I can get the order right:

#1: Level 6
#2: Level 7
#3: Level 4
#4: Level 3
#5: Level 2
#6: Level 5
#7: Level 8
#8: Level 1

Correct, that's the order exactly!

I'm guessing that's a Super Scope game, but I never played them, so I dunno, Super Scope 6, wasn't that the game bundled with it?

That's BattleClash, and you needed a Super Scope to play it.

Viscount had a higher resolution sprite in Metal Combat. lulz.

I'll go with BattleClash and you needed Super Scope.

Not sure though ._.

Battleclash and Super Scope are correct! I always enjoyed Metal Combat: Falcon's Revenge more, but I just can't get it to play like I used to ^^;

This RPG will always have a special place in my collection, I can only pray they continue it again someday.

Question #1: What game is it?
SCB2.jpg

Question #2: What is the name of the final boss that I blanked out in this screenshot?
SCB1.jpg

(my apologies for the resolution, I had to blow these images up, the originals were way too small for some odd reason.

Yeah, that's Earthbound alright. I never beat it though, I never understood why it was so highly praised, it was fun, but I could never get why people loved it so much. It did have some funny moments from what I remember though.
