hello, just to let you know, it is very gay to picture gear you DONT have on your character in your "picture signature".

i mean, its nice to dream, but come on. have a sense of pride and accomplishment of what you do have, not what you dream for. =/ no false advertising!

I don't know why anyone would put gear they don't have or couldn't possibly equip in their signature.
 
Theres nothing wrong with putting gear people don't have in their sig. Yeah, sure, you can have a sig of your accomplishments, yet at the same time you can also have a sig of what you yearn for.

And sometimes, some pieces of gear just match better. I had the Homam body in my sig when i still played, but I didn't have the gloves. But I kept the gloves in the sig because they work so well together. =P

Wtf @ the edit button: And on the mention of false advertising, its not like anyone is actively going around flaunting gear that they dont have. What difference does it make to you if a level 60 dragoon wants to picture himself in the really cool looking AF2?

i think people do it so they dont look nub when they accually do get it. Or perhaps when they do get said peice(s), they dont have to make a new sig.

I see nothing wrong iwth putting gear in your siggy, that you don't -actually- have yet. For example: SH in my sig.. do i have one? No, not yet.. but i will shortly.. hence the reason it is there.
 
Now all I need to do is find the quest to 'equip' what Roadkill has in his avatar...
 
white guys shouldn't put jp writing in their sigs, it's cool you googled a translation or even took a semester of jp since starting the game, putting that jap crap is just false advertising, you're not really jp.

Would you want to be wearing Justa(+1) and BLM AF in your sig? Yea now Ive got Weskit and all the shiny stuff... but back when I was in the late 50's on BLM.. looking like a Leprachaun? No thanks.

Course I dont have a picture in my sig anyways, but thats besides the point.

EDIT: I don't have the gear in my sig either. The Wrath Tabar was so last year, so I sold it and bought a better set. :p
