So I play Gears of War 2 almost every night. I've played over 5000 multiplayer games, beat the campaign on insane on my own, etc etc. I have all the map packs, and keep up to date with everything that's going on. Recently, while browsing their forums, I came across someone who wanted to sell his "Gears of War 2 Game Chamber."
Initially, his details were very sketchy, leading me (and others) to believe he was pulling our legs. He said that it was a one-of-a-kind item that he somehow obtained (still don't know how) which contains the following:
8 XBOX 360's
8 32' LCD TV's.
Numerous model Lancers (machine guns with chainsaw attached) and Longshots (model sniper rifles from the game)
More.
At this point, I was thinking "Meh, he wants to sell it but can't even tell us really where he got it from or what it looks like." When asked to provide pictures, he said he'd try and get some one his computer but has never done so before.
A couple of days passed, and I thought we'd heard the last. Then, he posts these two pictures.
Granted, it's possible that he created it himself, but it's not very likely. He's from Austria, so his selling possibilities aren't massive.
Has anyone else ever heard of something like this? I can find no record of it anywhere other than the thread on the forum that I found it in.
