Just like with Halo 3, there's going to be multiple versions of gears of war 2. The Legendary version, or whatever they call it this time, comes with a life-size Lancer rifle shown here:

That's probably the best extra tacked onto a game, period.

If anyone's interested in ordering it, here's the link.

Damn thats pretty cool...

I was all over it, but idk if like the blood splatter. I'll have to think about it.

its awesome and if it was released at a different time i would definitely get it, but with Too human, Infinite undiscovery, Force unleashed, Rockband 2, Fable 2 and others coming out so close to each other i dont think i can bear the price tag >.>

Yeah, if it was coming out in January, I'd definitely grab it; but I might pass up on it just because of all the other games I'm going to be buying soon. I agree with Raidrx too, I don't care for the blood spatter all that much, but it kind of fits with the game.

I hate to bash it so quick but just looking at that screen shot makes me laugh XD. It looks kinda stupid.

Too human

Dude, did you actually play the demo? You'd be better off with the plastic gun.

I have to agree XD. I found the demo horrible I'd rather stab my eyes with that crappy plastic gun lulz.

I enjoyed the Too Human demo, I really don't see what's wrong with it. Although no one has yet to actually say something was wrong, only that it sucked, but without saying why. It's Dynasty warriors style action with a real RPG system built in, it was fun.

yep played the demo, played it many many many times. reserved the game.

but i also played as every class since there are ways around the locks, i never can base a game off just a demo tho, and i liked what i played.

Clunky controls, very unstable framerate, lack of the slightest penalty for death, weird and ugly art direction, issues with player/environment interaction(getting stuck in midair for example), outdated looking graphics, unsatisfying combat, ext, ext, ext.

It was a demo, but it didn't impress me enough to go out and preorder it though. I am going to wait on a review before I pick up my copy of the game.

Now for the whole gun thing. Its cool and all, but I don't think it is worth the price tag. I would have to see one in rl before I bought it. I am already super hype about this game so I don't need any extras to hype it up for me.

Weird, I didn't notice any of that; maybe you just ran into some glitches, because mine ran just fine. The rest is just personal preference, which doesn't mean the game itself is horrible, only that it's not to your taste.

You died? I found the shit waaaaaaaaaaaay too easy. Not getting hit at all easy(I prefer a challenge thx.) So theres no penalty for dying huh, when it's that hard to? Dumb. Not to mention, if Tycho at PA is correct, the multiplayer is more of a tacked on after-thought. Which is awful. And the gunplay is retarded.

Well the regular enemies are essentially moving plants. By the time I got to the boss, I had been so unchallenged I barely knew how to play, and took a death trying to figure out moves. Didn't appear to be a skill based death either, more of a knowing where to hit the enemy and how, and doing it more damage than you take kind of thing. If that makes any sense, compared to an overall strategy.

Now THAT IS a truly worthy extra. Any news on if it is coming to the UK? =3
Well, only amazon is doing it that I know of, so you could probably just have it shipped to the UK.

Most retail stores learned their lesson about keeping around a megaexpensive version of a game, that is sure to sell to the diehard people, but not anyone outside of that (See: the ~6 copies of H3 legendary version that are still cluttering up by back stock room). Much better idea for that to be Amazon only.
