Saw this yesterday, thats so bad ass when he flips the chainsaw upside down and cuts the locust in half.
 
I need to play the first one. Does that make me teh suck?

Ok i heard the only good thing about this game is the multiplayer? Seems nobody likes the main character and his crew.

That's crazy talk, they are truly some of the coolest people you want to work with. story mode is also fairly fun, not something you wish to over look. =P
 
Yeah who the hell said that? The single player was awesome and Co-op is fun, its just a little on the short side (like 5hours to beat). The characters are all cool and coles a pimp. The multiplayer is solid too. I played it for a good 3-4 months but stopped due to lacrosse.
 
Thats cool, still wish the price would drop! I've just read alot where people said the campaign sucked and only multiplayer was fun. I'll try it out, just been waiting for that price drop that seems will never come.
 
Fuck yeah, I can't wait for this to come out, I loved the first one. I just hope they improve on the multiplayer though, the PvP in that game sucked giant dripping wet donkey balls.

I don't know what the fuck you've been reading but that is absolute total bullshit. The campaign was the only reason to play this game. The main character was pretty cool, I hated the ******, but that's just me. Seriously though, the multiplayer levels were all way too small and all sucked way too much cock. If anyone tells you the multiplayer in that game was good and the campaing sucked, you look them square in the eye and punch them square in the nose.

And yes, you are teh suck.

Hopefully they do what Army Of Two is doing with seamless online coop.

Gears of War multiplayer is horrible. Quake 3 Arena on the Dreamcast had 100 times better online performance than GoW. They royally buggered it up and never bothered to fix it. In short, you end up playin' the lag (which this game by far has more of than any other console game to ever go online) instead of the game. Many people got good at it but I could never see the point in playin' a game that doesn't work like it's suppose to. I tried though.

However, the campaign is straight beast. It's a friggin' blast. Definitely looking forward to GoW 2's continuation and I'm goin' to be really disappointed if Epic screws up the multiplayer -again-.

Yeah i agree I was actually good at multi player, but I hated it. The campaign was amazing and it was actually long(which I like) and reminded me of the Halo 1 campaign. I'm hoping Epic doesn't screw up its campaign like Bungie did when they made Halo 2.
 
I'd have to say the best part of this game was the co-op campaign. Especially if you've played at least a little of the single player part, so you can appreciate it much more.
 
I got good with the lag right off the bat and always had a blast online (i raped with the sniper too). Either that or i just played in non laggy rooms all the time. I never played Ranked games because I thought the whole join for one round and then have to find a new room was garbage. And i'd say 90% of the time i played i was in a room either hosted by a friend of mine or half full of my friends. I always had fun playing online.

I was more of a Torque Bow man myself but yeah I usually just stayed with my friends because having to keep looking for a new game was just a waste of time.
 
That "teaser" video was shit. There was no teasing done at all. Sure he flipped the chainsaw around, whoop de doo.

The theme is ugly as sin too. Bright crimson red with white text is not a good recipe for the eyes.

Yeah that teaser didn't show shit! It sucked. I mean im pretty sure everybody knew they would make a gears 2 anyway.
 
Thats why its called a teaser, its like "OH LOOK its gears, but we aren't really gonna show you shit, were just going to TEASE you". Teasers are shit, only game play footage is good stuff :D
 
November is looking to be a huge month yet again for gaming...

Why do I have a feeling that it will be Call of Duty 5, Resistance 2 and Gears 2 going head to head for holidays...?
