Why are the rumors of the next bungie/halo game a platformer and also a squad based game? I dont have the answers lol. I do understand the RTS game tho.

Well yeah, goin' from a FPS to a RTS, Platformer, Fighter, Space combat, Card Game, etc. would be plausible. Goin' from a shooter to a shooter wouldn't be. One of Gear's big selling points, to me anyway, is that it's in 3rd person. After playin' GoW, R6 Vegas just feels horribad with their cover system.
 
I just watched the tech demo. Did they change Marcus' voice actor? D;
 
The E3 demonstration was just... Man, impressive... I can not wait. Simple as that... 5 man coop new mode... Ride a Brumak???? Wtf..

Don't think so. The only difference, to me, in him now than then is he sounds more like Bender.

What a great way to part; "If they can ride 'em, so can we."

I'm sure Me, Jereme, and Osy are going to be tearing that new "Horde" mode up. I hope they make the bots like they did in Unreal, in that they level with you with how much you play the game.

We need to go official with XYA... But then i guess it would hurt too much if we found out we are nothing in the big picture... Anyways we have ripped every game handed to us. I hope Gears 2 last for a while with us.
 
No 4 player campaign co-op is sad.

I understand the reasoning behind it to keep the flow of the story moments the same, but most people would only use it on Insane difficulty(or higher if possible.)

Time will tell if Horde will make up for it not being included.
 
2 man co-op is alright by me. It should be coming out the same time as Resistance 2, so Gears of War 2 will be a little bit slower paced, tactical, and work well with just 2 people talking it out. Resistance 2 will be a little more fast-paced, have more people at once, ext. They differentiate from each other, so they'll both seem fresh and they'll both conform best to their game play style.

Besides, I only have 2 real life friends with 360s anyway. And 4 player splitscreen co-op... even on a big TV, is dicey.

I'm so stoked for GoW 2 I can't stop playin' GoW's shitty, shitty multiplayer...
 
This game is fuckin awesome!!! i love how the intro was made, it felt like entering an epic movie, everything looks so smooth and beautiful! My new fave character is Tai, hes so awesome. His accent is cool as hell. Carmine seems like team bitch so far haha. I like how they update you on achievement progress as you go. And horde mode is fun too, just i was a little rusty so i got my ass kicked like 5 times in a row in it before i decided screw it and started campaign.

I've never played GoW but I like shooting games a lot and am going to give this a shot. :3

As soon as a game goes Gold (completed and read to ship) status it is usually leaked and readily available on most pirating websites.
 
Not to mention Gears 2 already has a few finished, in box with manual, copies already floatin' around.
 
yeah it leaked the other night, im noticing a major trend lately, This past year games wouldnt leak till like maybe a week or a couple days till release, But suddenly all these major titles are leaking weeks in advance, Fable 2 went online weeks ago, So did dead space, not sure of guitar hero world tours release date but that went and leaked lastnight, Rockband 2 was out like 2 weeks early, Golden axe beast rider....But before these they really were not turning up this freakin early, Its like i dont believe it whenever i see a game on black cats.

This game draws you in immediatley though, and its action packed from the get go. The characters make me feel like im playing with some old friends. This game is just...wow.
