Gets his Blackbelt and leaves

Wait, lemme see if I got this right. I haven't read the mentioned post, but are you saying you can ask a mod to remove a post if it's about a LS?

'cause, you know, I highly doubt the mods would remove posts about Antares <.<;

(No, I haven't read this thread at all, but I've got /tell's in-game asking if I had a copy of the mentioned post)

to be honest, I think removing the mentioned post if it's about what people in-game told me it's about, then that's a real abuse of mod powers.

No, I'm not saying you can request a mod to remove a post about an LS. Post about Kaizen or whoever you guys want. You can request mods to remove a copy of a post that you made on another private site that you do not want to be used as flamebait. Please remember that it was a direct copy of the post from a private site that was reposted by someone other than the original author. Also, if the person didn't have the guts to post it under his real username, than the person clearly knew what they were doing was wrong. Like I said, there was nothing bad or good in the post for anyone, it was recap of what happened for LS members who wanted to hear both sides of the story.

No clue what posts are about Antares, can't comment.

Can't comment on last paragraph either because it's a vague "he says she says something" Can PM me with details, and I can comment

The post was removed because it was a direct copy of someone else's post on private boards. The copy was not authorized. It was not an input on discussion, it was an illegal copy of someone else's post that was intended for a specific audience. It was removed on request.

And I'm 100% positive they will cooperate in copyright infringement.
Please tell me you aren't serious, lol. If he goes and gets that post copyrighted, okay. If your site has a legitimate copyright setup to copyright everything posted there (and no, just saying "lol copyright 2006" isn't a legitimate copyright) then okay. But I'm assuming neither is the case, so a post on a message board isn't copyrighted, lolol.

PS: Don't quote this, it's copyrighted.

Everyone: The post was not even bad towards anybody it was a simple explanation/recap of what happened for LS members, you guys are not ls members and thus do not require any explanation. Stop trying to make more drama than the OP wanted/wants.

The dumb DRK discuss: who cares. dark knights are just plain emo

I read the deleted post by Amuzed, it wasn't anything huge, but it was still something that Nasya felt should be removed. I also recall it saying something to the extent "It was blown out of proportion and Taills only made a simple MT restating something" trying to downplay the discontent for Zalbag as nothing more than a misunderstanding which is completely contradicted by Tailss own replies on these very boards.

While it may not have meant much, it does give some credence to what Zalbag had been saying and how the shell and friends might think negatively when he didn't do anything wrong.

The DRK discussion also sets a precedence to mods using their power inappropriately in my opinion, a fellow Kaizen member no less. Neo used his authority to try and force me to back down from a simple post which is far tamer than 90% of the posts currently being made. The reasoning? His friend got butt hurt because he felt he was being called a gimp.

I'm just reading all of this and thinking... since when does QCDN flameboard rules protect privacy except the privacy of people's actual r/l information? It sure as fuck accepts private information as far as instant messenger conversations, private messages posted and message-boards opened up for the purpose of amusement. Not saying this is just, just saying it's extremely not just to start enforcing a rule that's not anywhere on the message board, PERIOD, because some people can dish it out and can't take it.

Who else would have removed it? Sounds like Nasya did herself, but if you want to clarify something I missed, then by all means get to it.

if you'd open your blinded shut eyes, you'd have read several posts ago by several people that it was deleted by alyada.

Already stated, but as I said a page or two ago, Alyada was asked to do so at the behest of Nasya. Committing the crime and asking someone to commit the crime for you are still equally evil. She might as well have done it herself. The fact that she had to ask, begs the question, how much was it important to her to be removed and how well Alyada actually thought about it. If another mod asks you what you think, it's clear they think it needs to be removed otherwise they wouldn't have taken the time to ask. That alone is enough to influence the decision.

Give me a community that doesn't act like a pack of ravenous animals the moment you post anything and I will act like a sweet angel. Time and time again, I've tried to stop being so cold on these forums only to be berated the moment I do for either a complete misunderstanding or just pure spite. Not exactly a great place to foster a sweet-hearted personality.

Ok... look.

1. The post i had removed wasn't even harmful to kaizen... if anything it was harmful to Zalbag, and in my opinion would probably have shown a more reasonable light to kisada. One that anyone outside of Limitless/Kaizen rarely sees, because he is a bit rough around the edges in almost every other venue...

Anyway, back on topic- A large part of the reason zalbag left was because of the drama involved in end game... and the way he was treated by some for wearing our pearl. Knowing that the copied post would re-instigate replies, many of which would probably have been negatively directed at him as per the initial replies he got on this thread when he made it... and that the post was never intended to be viewed by him or qcdn, i asked Alyada what he thought about the possibility of removing it. I asked him for an opinion b/c i knew i was probably biased... even though the motive was to protect zalbag in this situation.

Anyway, he agreed that if it was made without Kisada's conscent it should be removed, and removed it himself. He also offered to make a post explaining why it was removed, since it had been up for nearly 45 min... I decided i could at least make the post, since another mod had agreed it should be removed. Bad choice on my part i guess. Oh well.

2. The post was made by someone who isn't in our shell (IP matching yay). In the examples such as Aim conversations, and quotes from in game conversations... the person who made the post was directly involved in the conversation. That to me is entirely different than a non-involved, non-authorized to even see the conversation, third party making use of it.

3. As for kaizen's forum policy. The general agreement is just that. General. ANYONE can register at our boards. That is what we ask, and what any phpBB board by default, asks of its users. What we as a shell ask of our members is quite different.

Also, while i think artems call to copyright is a bit over-the-top... all you need to do to copyright stuff on the internet is make a statement that it has been copyrighted. Yes, if you want to legally take action as a US citizen, the site must be registered... however, under international standards all content on the web is protected upon creation. Facts based off of a webpage/post/whatever are not... but the exact words are.

So... many of you probably wonder why i would want something removed to protect someone else. I know at least one person is going to call complete bullshit on the idea. Sirelrohir, to you, and to anyone else who doubts... Have you ever seen us make a flame about someone who leaves? Have you ever seen us even mention that someone left in a public venue? When people leave we feel that is between them and us, and no one else.

Zalbag choose to involve the QCDN community on this one, a choice he has stated he regrets. If you notice, none of the replies by kaizen members that were made to him said anything negative... they didn't drive a flame... as i stated above, and perhaps rappa who still has the post can confirm, i believe some of the details in that post would have rekindled the less-positive comments he had gotten at first... Kaizen doesn't flame its ex members, even when they might deserve it (not this case)... I simply didn't want a post that was made in private to instigate flames from others either...

Alright, let's look at it this way, though.

When dealing with Kaizen I always had the impression that it was preferred to settle any complications privately and not involve the general community if an agreement could be reached without drama. I thought this was pretty cool. So when I had an issue about potential hypocrisy, I went to Neophytal privately to talk it out with him, as opposed to just making some QCDN post.

Neophytal then gave the posts to all of Kaizen, and then instead of trying to deal with me privately, you guys took your time, got an argument together and proceeded to attack me publicly.

http://www.qcdn.org/showthread.php?t=24269

At this point, my words that were private were used without my consent, to create drama directed towards me. The privacy was breached by a Kaizen member, given to all of Kaizen and then a Kaizen member used them to flame me with them. 1 of the mentioned people is a moderator of QCDN.

It could be interpreted as an explanation by me, that wasn't my choice to have distributed widely, that was then used to make an attack.

Then, even now, Kaizen members go on and on how I make accusations without proof.

http://www.qcdn.org/showpost.php?p=563072&postcount=134

The point being... why the fuck should you get to make a spectacle, continue to dig into me to this day about it, and then when the same thing happens to you, just delete it?

I'm not going to argue it's the end of the universe, and that you were trying to intentionally abuse power, rather I think that if it was any other linkshell, quite honestly it wouldn't have been deleted, because you are adamant about your own privacy, and you are so serious about containing the drama related to your linkshell but you don't care about other linkshells in that same manner.

When you act as such based on being a linkshell leader.. that's self interest and perfectly understandable, but QCDN should be fairly balanced for everyone.

Nasya stated it was removed to protect me, not the shell. I'm sorry the shell is getting all this added drama because they had my well being in mind.

They removed the post that was an attack on you. Kaizen doesn't flame it's ex-members, which may seem completely altruistic but it's not. Just like me talking about thinking some Kaizen people flee hack... it can be seen as an attack on them, but without proof, who's gonna look bad?

When you pick fights with your own ex-members, who's gonna look bad as well?

Edit in: On the bright side, now I know how to get rid of those annoying spambots that plague the flameboard. When 1 posts, just follow it up with a post about Kaizen, instant-delete!
(PS: Is just a joke.)

When you hang around long enough, you start to gain the same traits as the community and don't act like you are any different. I remember a certain user telling someone else that he should go kill himself after he crapped on a goodbye post for his friend, but I can't seem to recall who that person was...

I'm not confused, never was. You're the one who needs to validate me in order to justify yourself when you make comments towards me. Does it matter to you one way or the other? Or do I really care one way or the other? Not really, in fact I don't care. I've never said one way or another and I personally enjoy my anonymity, it keeps the jackals like you who always want to cyber far enough away. If half you boys could just play the game and keep your dick in your pants, I probably wouldn't mind divulging, but then again, I doubt that's possible.
