Getting my new Wii tomorrow =)

I'm getting my new Wii tomorrow and I'm pretty stoked about it. I got a bundle off QVC's website: http://www.qvc.com/qic/qvcapp.aspx/view.2/app.detail/params.tpl.csweb.cm_scid.cswb.item.E165467

Anyway, I am really torn between getting another Wii Remote so my wife can play, or getting New Super Mario Bros. Wii. I will eventually get the other but after buying the Wii I'm pretty strapped for the time being, lol.

Can I do without the extra peripherals for the time being or am I going to need it? If so, which accessories would be a good start for me to look at?

I would get another Wii controller. Wii Sports and the New Super Mario are soooooooo much better when you are playing with friends/family/lovers.

I don't use many accessories with my Wii. The only "accessory" I have is the Wiimote Charge Station to charge the controllers instead of keep replacing batteries.
