Gil for sale banners - wtf!

Google's Adsense is finicky. My old roommate used them on his website. Google banned him from using them because they accused him of telling people to click the adds (which he did a little) and didn't get paid any of the money. So basically if you get too many clicks without purchases they will accuse you of telling people to click them just for the money and they will stop the service (paying Sculli and showing the ads). I'm not too sure how well these will work unless people actually buy something.
 
Yeah, I mean there is no free money floating around, advertisers would like to get something in return for paying for a click, though they do have some starts that are like 0.04% of all impressions will receive a click, and then of those 10% will actually buy something, or something like that.

I am not too worried about Google dropping QCDN. I made it prett clear in What do you purchase online? that people should not click an ad just to support QCDN, but only click it if it is actually interesting to them.

From the stats I can see that no one is going click-wild. ;)

As long as people look at the ads, and click those who are of interest, it will be ok.
 
Lol. Plenty of people we all know play this game and buy gil, even our friends. I'd be willing to bet, everyone has a dear friend who buys gil, but they just don't know about it.
 
I really like the idea of doing both... I buy a lot of stuff off of Amazon. But what about this: Put up a link to the next Final Fantasy upgrade on Amazon...and all of us who are addicted to this darn game (me included) can buy it off of Amazon and get QCDN funds at the same time. There's also the next off-line version comming as well.
