Do you really consider what im doing mercing? i mean really, to be successful at this run you should spend roughly 200k in meds and food anyways.... for a not 100% guaranteed win.

From skimming this thread, it seems that any blm hater with a grudge seems to take great offence that a few second manaburned DM even exists. I've never taken gil for any even and have no intention of doing so, but 200k for one of the most saught after items in the game is super cheap. I see it as no different than paying someone to help with a coffer or nm. Supply and demand.

As far as comparisons between Manaburn/ TPburn exp goes. TPburn can gain a lot more, but can sometimes do distinctly average numbers if overcamped etc.

I do not have 16-18 blms that are available to do the event so i call upon other ones to aid me... I require NON blms to pay, and to get the Pentasphere simply because many of my help that i might call upon have done DM in the past, and i would like to help them out accordingly. You fuggin try to collect 17 Wars that you have never spoken to, without paying them and see how far you get.... i guarantee its hard Pere. BTW just FYI i am not getting a damn cent of the profits... this is all going to the other blms that are willing to help out.


I have done this run Several times and know exactly what the hell i am doing. I have done it both manaburned way and with 18 man setup. one easier than the other ^^ i guarantee that. The traditional DM fight is one of the hardest BC's in the game, supposedly. You might pay 100k on food and supplies, only to lose, and do it again. When you think about it, 200k, and the assurance of only doing it once, doing it in 3 minutes instead of 30, and the gil you might save on repeated supply purchases seems like a bargain. 200k might seem like a lot, and the whole merc thing can come across kind of against community spirit, but in this case, it's a win win situation. How much is EXP worth? Supplies? Actually seems like a bargain. This isn't anything like the disputed KS30 organizations. 200k isn't much gil anymore, especially for a free ride past one of the game's biggest challenges.
