I've never been in Outerheaven. Way to fail it up, idiot. And last I checked, BLMs can pull more than 7500/hr off Flans. Way to fail it up even more, retard. But hey, whatever helps you sleep at night, Corky.

Now Pere, here's a few tips next time you try DL.

Sleep PT before the fight.
Have melees begin fight with 300% WS > Wing > 100% WS.
Keep your RDM/DRKs down by the melees so when they pull hate, they don't bring DL up to the mages.
Make everyone keep RR up.

I know these are some very difficult ideas to process and you shouldn't feel bad that you forgot to do any of those during your DL attempt. Not everyone can live up to my shell :\ But hey, you just keep trying! I'm sure you can do it eventually ^^

AB conversation, C you later. 7500 xp an hour in the days of zilart. Back then the OHackers maintained that only black mages get that amount of xp, and that thief and dragoon were lepers. Now everyone gets 9k an hour in a pickup party, so the conversation is largely archival. 7500 xp with a nin/thf/drg party was about the best pickup xp you can get, which is why this little snot of a black mage doesn't believe to this very day in santa claus.

Quit playing a job that has such a slim use if you feel that way. Personally, the opposite here. I got sick of it on MNK and leveled BST. Rarely do I seek on MNK now(I think last week was the first time in about 7 months.) I try to avoid using it for most things that aren't mission/quest related.
 
I never bragged a BLM cannon back when they took place at King Ranperres tomb. The good exp was off ranger cannons in sky off the weapons before the nerf.

Also, for your information, my bard was staticed with a BLM - therefore I did about 100 regular parties and maybe 4 BLM cannons based on those being the jobs that were seeking at the time. I got my bard to 75 in a static where I got to party once every week or two based on making whatever party I could and forcing a level every time we were able to go out.

I'm guessing your unattached WAR has yet to hit 75 yet. I'm guessing in all this time you haven't even managed enough merits to be 8/8 dagger and I'm guessing the only parties you get on your thief are with people in your dynamis shell feeling pity on you.

And 7500/hour is what I solo on puddings.

I got 25k exp that day and leveled up. What did you end up netting?

Back in "2004" when he was gimping it up on THF, Manaburn WAS the fastest way to make exp, Just ahead of MNK cannon on bones.

Now, fastest way to make exp is TPburn in either Mire or Thickets, provided it isnt crowded.


Now, it seems his main point is BLM for endgame useage judging by the OP. While he's already switched up his argument per usual, I'll still adress it now, so he cant simply jump back to it later in an attempt to "win the day."

BLM still is the Primary damage dealer for any Zilart misison/HNM. SMN is the Primary Damage Dealer for most CoP missions/HNMs, and alot of the new ToAU content. Not that you'd know of course, because you've never actualy killed any of them.

So he's an idiot because he couldn't predict what would happen to exp parties 2 years later; because he didn't know SE would make an expansion where virtually every exp mob would be weak to piercing along with having drastically lower respawn times?

Rng cannons vs deco weapons used to break 10k/hr easy back then, my best pre-ToAU party was a KRT party getting more than twice your lol7.5k/hr (30k in under 2 hours)

Bragging about 7.5k/hr then is like bragging about 10k/hr in an empty mire now.
