Goblin Bounty Hunter

I noticed following the ones in qufim that they each have small patrol paths, and that where one ends another one begins.

Also, according to a pal of mine who was in the dunes, they weave in and out of the water line(the one you can only get past with the ps2 glitch)
 
Well, i was in XP pt there a bit ago... One aggrod on party member so I voked... He killed me in three hits as WAR, while everyone else was hitting for 3-7 damage. I critted him for 30 with G. Axe... Seems kinda low hehe. He conned IT++ to me at 22. I don't think it will be good to kill as exp, and the way he was taking laps around the pond, if he aggros on a PT while they are killing a worm or crab, they're toast.
 
They put them at the pond? Aww, that's really disappointing. =/

Edit: can you even fish anything worth a damn at that pond? I don't recall ever seeing anyone fish that pond.

so are they wars or use any special attacks out of the ordinary?

and their looks are disappointing.... was expecting something awesome like the besieged goblins
 
Got aggroed by one while soloing at the qufim pond ;/
Gonna be tough to PT on worms at the pond now, unless they can be killed by a lv20 PT. I was 25 and it conned IT++ to me.

No bitching though. I still think its a good idea.

The pond is a decent fishing spot, but I tend to avoid it because there's usually a party camped near there and it can be distracting. Either they're fighting very close to you or they want you do Raises or kill the ghosts for them as they spawn.

These bounty hunters will make unlocking the Beastmaster job even more interesting, I bet.

If the Goblin Hunters don't even go into the pond area, what was the point? Because they couldn't fish out of the pond, because the ghosts would get at them. So I am assuming they put a Goblin Bounty Hunter IN the pond as well, otherwise SE really screwed that exp spot up. :/

Just get your level 1 THF ready for 2 hour. Walk right past everything, get key item, and blood warp home. :)

went and did the BST flag quest on my cooking mule last night; caught gob aggro since i had only sneak up (bounty hunter conned as VT to WHM32) hit me a few times as i dashed for the flowers (kraken was not up /cheer). lost aggro as i hit the cutscene but got killed trying to cast invis afterwards.

at least miniden got his BST flag out of the way ^^

Well i dont know fishing spots but was this even a popular spot to lvl fishing?
 
Congratulations SE. Screwed Dunes parties AND RMT over in one fell swoop.
How's that for irony from a company people complain 'never does anything'.
 
It's like a divine justice. If you're smart you will avoid the gobs at all costs. If you're a stupid newb you will be killed over and over again.

The dunes are a decent place to level but they arent the best for that level range and they certainly arent the only place. This might be a good thing for exp at those levels and get people exping in new places! (probably not though people will just end up there to die more and bitch more.)
 
The goblins are actually exp level. so people from 17-19 can kill them easily.
did that earlier when the party leader didnt listen to me about avioding areas to camp that have roaming monsters of death. ( party leader must have died 5+ times from bounty hunter aggro before that kill)
