Isn't soloing a whole lot easier with the new defense and evasion bonus from signet? I mean, I'd consider soloing now a whole lot more than a decent dunes party let alone a terrible one which by all measures is the standard. Just experience off DC to EM and you shouldn't have a problem. You can make comparable experience to a dunes party and you can do whatever you want in the down time; homework, reading, tv, etc.
 
Maze and Korroloka always have and always will be better xp than Dunes anyways.

No.. it's not really a "whole lot easier" and definitely not comparable to the xp you get in a party. Figure you fight an even match, maybe two, get 200 or w/e experience points and live, joy. Then you have to sit and rest all your hp or mp. rest and repeat, all the while getting 75-125 w/ chain versus 250+ if you were in a party. And parties also typically reduce the downtime anyway, getting chain 3-4 before having to full rest.

Not arguing there aren't other places to lvl, just agreeing gobbies make the dunes virtually impossible to lvl now @ 17-19 off fish.

A lv 17-19 exp party can KILL the goblin bounty hunters. Must I repeat this over and over?

You're forgetting HP regenerates a lot faster now too.
 
most goblins check as decent challenge or tough at 18...
 
I killed a few tonight on BLU. They seem to attack very fast, like a super Double Attack.
 
They do this to Buburimu Peninsula also or just V.Dis--er Dunes?

I make it a point to try and make a pt of 5 and catch a tele-mea and make our 6th shout for tele in Jeuno lol.

Not as camped as Dunes was, I loved it. ; ;

I completely avoided fish every time I go through the dunes. They're way too hard at 17 to get decent exp, screwdriver is practically a one-shot at dunes level. All the way to 19 you'd be better off just mass-killing gobs for significantly faster exp. At 19 you can leave for Qufim or keep chaining T gobs to 20.
 
they missed a spot..... go hit up the west side of w. sartua......... there aren't any fish left to catch there......

11 fishbots sitting there right now.
10 more not logged on that i know of atm.....
 
hmmm, this was a very interesting/funny idea by SE.
now, what are they gonna do about all the fish bots inside city limits i wonder, lol

Thank you Mish...totally forgot about those areas. I was at the pond in Qufim soloing the worms and I just got my ass handed to me by one of those gobs. Made me sad but I forgot about those two areas. <3

What they should do is what they do with boat trips: Random mobs fished, but have them pop claimed to the fisherman. If nothing else, it'll certainly be easier to detect who is botting when they're standing there not killing it.

Probably not, but it would be pretty damned amusing. Make them so they can't fish until the mob is killed or something. Wonder if it could even be done?

Yeah, all they need to do is make mobs automatically aggroed on who caught them. I mean, wouldn't you be pissed off if someone hooked you in the lip and yanked you up from whatever you were doing?
