All orange names are currently active mods btw =P. Tenkax and Mr.Wonko do a great job with spambots and stuff ^-^; Its due heavily to them that many of the newbies on this site have their posts approved. So yea, just because they are fortunate enough to stay out of this drama, does not mean they don't do anything.

We appreciate our brethren working behind the scenes!

Argueable points will remain argueable, since we lack inflex and tone in text. I saw nothing but animosity in Skaws post to Hellstorm (as an example), but if others see it as a warning, well... I think there are much better ways to warn someone about stupid posters.

...like maybe, a reputation system of sorts? One you couldn't turn off maybe...? Naw, those can't possibly exist!

No, it didn't, and while I do agree Skaw probably WAS over the line in that case, it was debatable because it IS hellstorm. He makes my brain hurt with half of his posts. And thats only because I can't READ the other half of them. The point is that Skaw wasn't "Flamebaiting," he was just voicing the opinions of many other members, myself included.

Skaws post defiantly deserved a warning, but not a ban. Which is why it seemed pretty convenient that it only happened after he called Arc out.

i advocated from day 1 that if you can turn off reputations, its useless.

I wholeheartedly agree. Mara's one line criticisms cannot match the sparkle to your lack of concern for proper capitalization. Aren't you the guy over there holding that sign that says "I work here?"

Had to, because they'd disabled reputation. Tried to but got "You must spread reputation around before giving it to Timeless again"

Neo dude, i got respect for the mods, but you are helping turn this into the reason why things get pulled to the FB.

Then I suppose my point would be, from my perspective he was flamebaiting, and just because he was voicing the opinions of himself and a few of his peers, doesn't make him right. It was also my understanding that he was necessarily banned for just this specific post of his, but it was his proverbial "nail in the coffin", reguardless of how convenient it looked to you and me. But maybe you know better than I on this fact, and if not, Skaw and the mods certainly do.

And again, I really have to ask you, why don't you just put Hellstorm on ignore if his posts make your head hurt? (I know you were elaborating)

And its funny, because in general he isn't one of the mods people take issue with. He just keeps popping in to try and get in on the thread for seemingly no real reason.

But then he has a blog that chronicles every minor thing he does, so I guess he just likes attention.

any decent thread ends up on the flameboard... look at the threads in qcdn history with the largest post count and let me know where they are situated at.
 
Ignoring him is pointless, you'll still have to read him being quoted if I recall correctly. I'll double check to be sure.

I dunno, I think you both are kinda being a bit over the top critical, granted Neo was provoked. Neophytal's post accomplished the exact same thing yours did Marajade. It showed a plurality of support or appreciation to each respective post. Don't try to differentiate the two, because there is no other meaning behind either of the posts above.
