For those who haven't figured it out yet. I have decided to quit ffxi due to rl issues. I just wanted to say it has been a great 6 years off and on playing FFXI. I had a really great time on Quetzalcoatl for the little over a year that I was on the server. I met a lot of really interesting great people and killed a lot of big shit. I think I improved both as a player and as a person due to my time on Quetzm and it was made possible because of some really great friends. I want to give a shout out to some of them and I will keep adding to this list because I know I will miss few, but here goes!

You are one of the best blm and blu that I have had the honor of playing with. You have always been very nice to me and very helpful. You introduced me to Nyzul which I pretty much fell in love with until I got sick as hell of it after doing it for 6+ months. I wish you the best in your journey of reaching your goal of Morrigan's body and Novio earring. I am also glad I was able to help you obtain 2/2 af+1 items for your sexy dnc!

You might be the sweetest and most down to earth person I have met on ffxi. You are an elite whm and our Nyzul static took a crushing blow after you left because it wasn't the same afterwards. You are just a real joy to talk to when your not busy, but that isn't often because Pers keeps you uber busy... I want a screen shot sent to me on msn when you finish your whm mythic!

Even though when I arrived and throughout my time on Quetz, you were considered one of the most hated players on the server. People told me you were a total bitch and to stay away from you because you are crazy. I am glad I didn't take their advice and actually got to know you personally on game. You were always nice to me and I enjoyed goofy off with you. I saw some of your explosions through screen shots and through ls chat, but deep down I knew that wasn't the real you. So I didn't take offense or think any less of you. I wish you good luck finishing your relic horn.

Another one of the most hated people on QCDN, that I had the pleasure to know on a more personal level on the game. You are a very highly skilled player with all your jobs. I always enjoyed talking about game issues with you. You knew your shit well, and when I needed to know something or needed an opinion on something. You were one of the few I would turn to and ask. You were always cool to me and we had a couple good times. Good luck with your LS dude!

Thanks for be a reliable member of our Nyzul Static. You really helped me keep it together when a lot of people had to leave it due to rl issues. I am sorry if I pushed you a little hard sometimes, but it was because I knew what you were capable of and your potential. I just wanted you to be the best you could be.

You are one of the craziest hume females I know on game. You always had something interesting or goofy to say that made me laugh or smile. You were also a very serious person at times, but that is a good thing. You were too busy with rl in the past few months so we kinda fell out of touch. It is all good though because rl > game and I know that more than most.

Malich
You are a great blu. It made me proud that I was able to help you obtain your Homan shorts. You deserved them as much as anyone else who has received them on game. You are a very hardworking and skilled player. I was honored to have you in my LS and I wish you the best. Sucks I couldn't stick around to see you get 5/5 on Homan though :(.

You make some of the most amazing signatures I have ever seen. Totally amazing in my opinion. Glad I didn't pay attention to the flame about you. You are an amazing person. Sucks that these rl issues hit me shortly after you came back from game. So I can't really say anything about your skill level on game, but if you have 1/100 the total skill on game compared to your skill with signatures. Than you are one hell of a player. I might get you to make another signature before it is all over with. Stay in touch with me on MSN!

Another great signature artist. You helped me out a bunch in the short time we knew each other and on short notice too. I really appreciate all the kindness you showed me. Another highly skilled blm that I had the honor of meeting. You knew your job well and I was honored to have you in the LS as well. You are an amazing player considering you are Canadian j/k j/k :P. Keep up the good work dude!

I will add some more later because there are many more. I am just too tired to continue at the moment. I also wanted to inform you guys that I haven't sold or deleted my character. I gave him to a close friend. So I might log in from time to time to say hey and see how things are going...

Sucks to see you go, didnt know you too well except we tried so hard to put together an assault group and it didnt pan out lol.

I hope everything RL gets squared away and maybe you get another shot at this game. Take care bro.

Desan, it was nice knowing you during the time I ran with Insomniacs, you always came off as an awesome player, sorry to hear you're leaving. Good luck in all your endeavors.
 
Didn't know you that much, just knew you through Insurrection. You were a great player was nice to know you for period that I did.

Yea i don't think we ever really got the chance to do anything together but it was always an interesting conversation back when we camped against each other. One of the few people i actually respected the opinions on most things... lol.
 
Des you've always been a great friend. I'm sad to see you go and really didn't think you were going to till you made this thread and it actually began to sink in. I'll really miss our talks but especially the ones about movies :P I wish you all the best IRL and hope everything works out for you. Thank you for being such a sweetie and take care.

You were a really cool dude. You were always very helpful. You would go far out of your way to help your friends. You are also very highly skilled and it was always an enjoyable moment to watch Khimey pull you in after you stole hate, you crazy drk :P.

You might be the goofiest person I have met on Quetz. I never know where a conversation with you will go. You always keep things interesting and new! I also always knew if you were on I could count on you to help. Keep on pimping out that uber mnk of yours! Maybe one day I will find it worthy to log on and whoop you up!

Now I am going to make a couple shout outs to some people from Insurrection that I had the honor of meeting here on Quetz instead of back on Titan. I will only mention those who I know still check QCDN.

You are one awesome man cat. You were always cool to me and I enjoyed just BSing with you very much. You are one of the best SMNs that I have had the honor to play with in my 6 years of playing. You are also amazing at pulling Dynamis. I wish you luck with your shell back on Titan.

I would have to say you are the best drk I have ever had the privilege of playing with on this game. You are very highly skilled and just as highly equipped as well. The best thing about you is that you don't let any of that go to your head and you have always been a very humble laid back person. You were always very nice to me when we spoke.

We never really spoke much while in Insurrection, but whenever we did it was a cool experience. You are a really good signature artist and it sadden me to hear that you quite because you made me my very 1st signature of me killing Pocket. It came out better than I expected to be honest. I wish you GL with your LS back on Titan!

I also just wanted to come out and say thanks to everyone with their nice comments in this thread. I always tried to be respectful to people and treat them how I would want to be treated. I also don't like to throw out things that I am a nice guy or anything like that. I always thought is easy to say great things yourself, but it doesn't mean anything unless people say those same things about you. It means a lot to see people saying that kinda stuff about me! I will probably do a couple more shout outs in the near future :).
 
Damn, been a while since I checked in again.

Des, I guess it's time for everyone to leave at some point.
My shell on Titan is starting to shape up nicely and soon we'll be able to do some more then low maning Dynamis, sky, sea and ZNM stuff.

Started opening at work so couldn't play as late as I wanted to anymore, but yeah, had some crazy conversations now and then :P

Thanks for always having an answer when I asked for information. If you weren't able to help, you were always able to help me find someone who could.

Hope everything works out for you, and who knows, we may cross paths in the FF universe again one day ^_^
 
aww desan im gonna miss you to =( well at least we had some fun times! and alot of dieing HAHAHA.. But all in all i am glad that i have met you and got to know u as a good friend. Best wishes to u and good luck in the future.. Oh ya Youll be back! =)
