Got My Soul Calibur IV

Got the all Armor/Weapon unlocked honor today. Almost have all of them just need the 2 Impact ones, Soul Crush/CF ones, TOLS upper floors, 20 honor and 100 wins online and the win with no armor left. I hope you unlock something when you get them all done.

Oh and if you're buying all the weapons/armor keep in mind voldo has a helm only he can use in his custom deal. I didn't get the honor after i bought everything and was like WTF until someone told me that and then i got it. I hate voldo...

Yeah, Soul Gauge damage A and a lot of varied attacks..

After roughly testing that, it is still untrue. Every single time, a piece of equipment breaks at the same time as the soul gauge is broken. Used Soul Gauge Damage A and alternated high and low attacks while a friend guarded with soul gauge turned all the way down in extra vs. mode. I'd rather not have to test more, but i'm fairly convinced for myself after about 5 rounds.

In other news, i hit the top 1000 in arcade mode with a score of 530k. I probably won't stay in the top 1000 for long, but i was happy none the less. Also on my way to clearing the tower of souls, because i finally beat floor 45, doing it the hard way.
 
I really wish Yoshimitsus banner didn't spin at the start of his critical finish. Looks so ridiculously bad.
 
About critical finishes, you don't have to break off a piece of armor since one will automatically break when you put your opponent into soul crush. Which piece depends on what level hit sent them into crush e.g. a high hit breaks the head armor. Also, you can break off armor if you hit your opponent with a strong hit or through continuous hits to the same level.

To put someone into soul crush, guard impact them and/or keep hitting them while they block until their gauge is red and the bar is flashing red, then hit them with a strong attack (which they hopefully block) or guard impact them and their gauge will turn black then hit A+B+K+G.
 
Tower of Souls finished. Fuck you floors 56-60. Everyone have every awesome ability at level S and on slightly below edgemaster difficulty is not fun. Now i just have to work on beating those damn cat bosses on decending...
 
So some lol going on here. I have a custom female character using Yoshimitsu style, and one of the victory sequences she says "You coveted what you could not obtain," while sticking her ass at the camera.

Easy 12 hit combos are awesome. Girls also get Waaaaayyyyyyyy better equipment than guys do. I had Auto-Impact A, Impact Edge, and Impact Heal all my amy character, and i still could have stacked on more impact. I'm glad i don't do extra vs. at all and only regular vs matches.

Just like everyone called, you'll be able to buy Yoda/Vader for PS3/360 for $5 this thursday.
 
What they need to do is allow you to make custom characters wielding lightsabers. I love the cat costume, have it with Siegfreid's Soul Calibur now, but it would great with a lightsaber.

Or atleast let us customize Vader & Yoda some more.
