Grand Theft Auto 4

Still has 2 days left

I never bought GTA 1-3 so I guess, hurray?

well let's see.. they've been through New York, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, San Fransisco, and Miami (as well as london I believe but I'm not sure if that's really part of the series for sure or more of a "related but not the same world" game). If it's going to be in the US again (assuming) and a large city.. what's left? Washington DC really isn't THAT big.. there's Seattle, Washington which is pretty big right? Chicago, Detroit, Houston, Austin? They really haven't had a middle country city yet.. I'm guessing maybe somewhere in the middle of the country. And yet it'll still ALL be completely surrounded by water XD

Theres still Atlantic City, I guess.

Ocean front, Casinos, popular location.. kinda adds up.

There have been eight GTA games, not just 1-3...though I kinda don't count GTA, GTA2 or GTA: London with their top-down pespective.

I look forward to whatever they bring with the new one. In some ways though, I hope they scale the landscape back a bit (though I kinda doubt they will). While having a state with three major cities, a cluster of small towns and plenty of countryside to play around with in San Andreas was fun, it could be a bit overwhelming at times. Plus, as much as I played it, I still fucking get lost from time to time.

I've been playing Vice City Stories off and on lately. Hopefully GTAIV will bring back the series' humorous side, which VCS largely lacks.

Grand theft auto Canada eh!

All you do is farm, drink, and play hockey! It's the perfect game.

I get cracked up by that gay hunter on the radio show.

"I'd take a bullet for you, man. A big load to the face."

The domestic violence storyline, not so much. I hope you get to beat that prick to death at some point.

From what I've read, there was a GTA4 infomercial the other day that was just thirty minutes of that countdown clock. It's certainly different from six million Girls Gone Wild ads and attempts to sell me a BowFlex.

How do you get lost in San Andreas XD as big as it is, it isn't that hard to find your way around :P size isn't the problem.. I just wonder if they'll bring any new features to it.. I don't know what knew things they could bring that'd make the gameplay improve.

The maps in GTA are not so hard to memorize.

Still 23 hrs to go for the trailer. I'm expecting nothing short of spectacular, they better deliver. Although... with co-op play over Xbox LIVE I'll be satisfied. ^^

I'm hoping for a custimizable characters and a better targeting system.

I'm hoping for a bit more fluid character movements :P I know before they couldn't necessarily cause of how much data they had so the character models not being so detailed and fluid wasn't a big problem but.. eh.. there are other things but I can't wait to see.

I think this thread should be in the XboX360 fourm. I heard Rockstar games has it's heart set on making 360 exclusives of GTA. I think it said something about 3 other games that side story GTA3 to GTA4 only on XboX360

Nah, it's coming out for PS3. They already have a contract with sony for it don't they? If it's not coming out for PS3 than every single Game Stop, Best Buy, etc is horribly informed x.x (as well as the internet). If Rockstar did say that, where did they? O.o

GTA4 will be coming out for the PS3 and the 360 on the same day this October.

That would be pretty badass, but you did exclude the annual ice farming for our seasonal igloos.

And god damnit there has to be a Blades of Steel minigame.

I think Skaw might be right about Atlantic City :P (how about salt lake city?! XD that'd be funny). Atlantic does seem to fit the GTA city settings.
