Hello everyone, I won't be able to logon until Dec. 24.

Apparently whenever I use the job ability "Flee".... I also use a 3rd party "cheat program" to Flee FASTER than anyone else.

Apparently, SE can log into your character while you are playing and examine you AND what you are doing without you knowing.

Pretty fucking cool eh?


Then the asshole tells me to call Tech Support and my account will be reactivated in 72 hours. Right after he says that, I am automatically logged off and unable to log back in.

All because THEY ASSUME that I am using a 3rd party program.

Tell me what you think of this.

It's bullshit ontop of gil selling bullshit that makes me want to quit this game.
 
Yea really. I didnt even that know was possible. How did they figure that you were using something to flee 'faster' than others? That is to say, what kind of proof did they have on you?
 
Due to bandwidth and processor limitations movement is handled on the client side. This allows for the client to render us moving in a fluent manner. On a regular poll the client sends your X Y Z position to the server. To keep people from intercepting the X Y Z with a third party program and altering it to all allow a person to warp across a map or to “Flee” faster, the server runs a calculation of the set movement speed based on the previous update and the current update to see if your movement is with in normal parameters. Lag and packet loss can cause your movements to go outside of the norm. Typically this simply causes you to jump backwards or forward across the map as the server resets your position to where it thinks you should have been. If it goes way out of norm, it can trigger a flag because it thinks you are cheating. All this is done with out looking at your system for the third party program.
 
Details:

Decided to camp Argus again today. I had been in the Maze for around an hour, I wasn't spamming provoke or anything the entire time. Every 5-10 min or so I would Flee from the Argus room to the LK room.
So I'm sitting at the bat camp....I get a little bored, so I decide to go check on the LK.
I flee over to the room.
Just before I reach the LK room, I'm haulted to the infamous "Downloading Data" screen.

After that I arrive in Mordion's Ghaol [jail] for my second time. (1st visit questions = See my Signature.)

I can't remember the GM's name. Shoulda been running fraps for a screenshot too ><

He says: Greetings, I am Game Master .........
I say: Hello
He says: Our logs show you using a cheat whenever you use the Flee job ability.
I say: Pardon me? Could you please elaborate?
He says: It is against the User Agreements to use third party programs.
I say: I know, I haven't been using a third party program.
I say: Has there been any similar incidents like this?
I say: You know there are better problems for you to be dealing with. Hence Ordelle's Caves.
He says: One moment please.
I say: No problem.
(20 minutes go by.)
I say: I would like to leave, NOW. I have done nothing against the Terms of Use or User Agreement. This is utter bullshit.
He says: One moment please.
I say: Bullshit.
He says: I'm discussing the matter with my senior.
I say: Ok.
He says: Your account will be suspended for 72 hours. Please contact Tech Support at 1-858-blah-blah-blah.
He says: After 72 hours, you may log back onto this ID. When that time comes, please access the Help Desk.
I say: Fucking Bullshit.

I didn't know it was possible either. I didn't even know that I was fleeing faster than others (Even though I probably wasn't).

They didn't show me any sort of proof. They accused me of using a third party program and that is all. This is why I'm pissed.

There's my answer. That's HAS to be why this happened.

Again, it's bullshit like this that make me want to leave.
 
For those of you wondering, this has been solved.

Wolfskymoon reported me to a GM for "Fleeing too fast".

I tried to be nuetral about the whole Wolfskymoon issue when he was
featured in the flame forum. If he reported you for that with no real
proof...

I'm starting to think that guy is a real asshole and wouldn't hang around
him. He even ADMITTED to training mobs on people and where is HIS
BAN?

hmm...looks like this is your opportunity for payback once you get back online...payback is a bitch. i guaranteee if that was me that he reported, first thing i would do when i got back on is to report him as well as having friends/ls mates etc to report him for something...wolfsky, i wouldnt be surpirsed if your the next to go. watch your back for your new enemies

Make sure you save the screenshots he posted of himself MPKing people... It's great when they just hand you the edvidence against themselves.
 
Next thing you'll know, a fisher will report me for using a third party program because I can make a second cast faster than him.

It's strange... I've been running from place alongside other players for... what... 9 months? And I've seen that happen all the time. The other player suddenly becomes slower, than has a spurt of speed and gets back ahead of me. Pascal has a better explaination about it, that's for sure.

Getting banned because of someone else's crappy connection... That is the pinnacle of stupidity... Sorry having to say that outside the Flameboard, but Wolfskymoon is clearly out of line. If I ever witness anything from him against the ToS, believe me I'll report him.
 
<_< Im tempted to be just like Wolf and make up something, then report him for it. Since thats apparently what he's done here. Everyone has seen the lag thing, the people skipping around here and there, regardless of flee or otherwise. Its so painfully obvious he was just trying to find some kind of loophole to 'get his point across' that he is the savior of everyone who cant nab Argus. And our friend Dowzer was the unwitting victim of this latest scheme.
 
damn...im not even logged in and OH SHIT, I SAW IT...HE WAS GOING WAY TO FAST FOR FLEE. i better report him....oh man...maybe i should see the same psychiatrist that wolf needs to see to get this issue resolved

1. No such thing as flee bot.

2. GM's WERE investigating if you using ANY 3rd party programs.

3. You said bullshit TWICE.

4. GM hated your attitude and BANNED you.

5. Cursing IS against Terms of use.

Thus why you were banned for 72hrs. During the new update, witch this is coming from a GM himself. All bots and Gil sellers will be banned FOREVER. Meaning bye-bye go to WoW-fuckface~. So they do not give any warning to pernement bans. But since you said twice and mouthed of to a GM, be banned you for cursing, since he couldn't find any 3rd party programs.

Oh as far as when you said, "Don't you have better things to take care, like ordelles caves." LOL! nice! :wink:

TIyakelth u must be sckin dowzer lol but hey here is a link again.I didnt report Dowzer's flee what he did was he engaged the bat i had aggro on and i couldnt attack it or engage it so the bat kept hitting me and Dowzer was fleeing around like a bich it was so obvious,syara logged too she might have reported also.But well he shouldnt have done the bat thingy .All i said was "Why is he fleeing so fast?"

I have proof i've been camping the 11 mil gil mob for 5 days straight u have no idea how much stuff ppl are willing to do to get it!!! and GMs are not dumbasses .Speed enhancers are obviously used by more ppl since they caught him.And if u wanna report me go ahead,if i'd be jailed for being honest i wont really care about playing this game anymore.
