There are speed hacks, they have been around since the Ultima Online games and work in every single game you can install on your computer and are still widely used. They are used in almost every single MMO by cheaters and are very easy to get since there are multiple different programs that all do the same thing. What they do is speed up your cpu (not the same as over clocking) which causes anything client side to go at an abnormal speed. Most of these programs have slide bar in which you can set and only a certain setting will give you a desired effect. You can actually speed hack with a low setting and nothing looks different to anyone. These programs can also cause CPU damage so anyone who uses them is playing with fire.

I run a UO EMU server and this has been the biggest program as far as cheaters go by far, for years. But as another poster said, these same effects can be caused by lag as well, if you lag up a bit and the server gets your data in like a burst when you re-establish a connection it might give you a little extra in game, to anyone watching it may look like you are speed hacking.

It would appear as though you only act this way to people that are "fckin the game up" for you. Someone already mentioned that they feel the reason Dowzer was band was because of his beligerant attitude. I tend to agree with this. If they had "proof" of his use of third party software, his ban would be longer than 72 hours. If "assholes who are fckin the game up" is your concern, which is worse? A fast flee or the buttmunches that train on people? Perhaps you should report yourself. Oh, I forgot Batman, you're apparently above the law.

I was aware of the fact that comfirmed Botters/Cheaters are removed from the game indefinently.

I was given a slap on the wrist, because I have mouthed off a previous GM. I called the GM who made me change my name from Smokalottapot>Dowzer, a bastard, a prick, an unmaligned asshole. After our heated arguement and misunderstandings, he actually let me change my name - without suspension. However, it would be left on my record as my first warning for verbal harrassment.

This is what Technical Support told me when I called:

them: please give me your ID
me: **********
them: It shows the account has been put on hold and is suspended for 60 more hours. I don't have the access to un-suspended this account.
me: I wasn't looking to un-suspend the account. I want to know why I only received a 72 hour suspension, as the player who reported me apparently said I was using a third party program.
them: The GM reported you as being Verbally Abusive, please read through 4.4 (f) of the User Agreements and Policies. It is flagged that you were warned on June 17 2004 that any abusive behavior is against the rules.
me: Thank you that makes everything clear, Take care.
 
I stayed away from this SARS ridden thread for a while now, as well as the one about wolf...This is bullshit.

One, because I don't think any GM intervention was appropriate at all. Get your own flee and see if he actually flees faster. If you don't have flee and he hits flee, he'll still beat you to the punch anyway, so why give a fuck in the first place?

Two, because the GM's "punishment" was unjust. I can't believe they did that to you with no proof of anything. >< That is complete bullshit.



I had a GM called on me once for training (which I didn't even do - God knows who the little shit that called was)...The GM said the same shit, "I have been watching you for a while." Um...OK stalker. :roll:
Then he proceeded to tell me to stop training even after admitting that he'd been watching and knew I wasn't training anything. :roll: :roll:

Whatever. GM's = Low grade dog food, but more useless.

Dowzer did the GM say "I"m sorry dowzer i'm the worst GM and i'm mentally ill and i was drunk" too?.i wont be suprised if u add it in ur conversation up there and secondly u knew i hat this up here if u had a conversation u'd defitnally take a screenshot.

I don't think that you speak with GMs when you call the suppport line or whatever, I think it's totally different people. It seems GMs are busy enough in game, I don't believe that they can answer the phone too.

That's correct, they are definently not GM's. They answer questions due to Technical difficulties when trying to start the game. Like trying to configure your internet properly.
