Group EXP

I'll be hitting a mob just as much as my partner in my party and I'll get an easy 320 exp and he'll get ziltch. Is this a bug? On another mob he'll get roughly 120 and I'll get 150, seems almost right.

It's so hot and cold, is something off? We're both doing everything we can do it and landing most attacks.

His Dex is 27 and he's a level 10 Gladiator. I'm a level 10 Pugulist and my Dex is 38. I hit it more, but things are still pretty even.

Any ideas?

Every time you hit a mob you have a chance to gain a little exp for that swing. The exp is totaled and given to you when the mob dies.

...At least that's how it was in alphas/betas.

Assuming you mean skill points, it's like Myrid said. You have a chance at gaining skill points, you don't always get them. While soloing sometimes, I would get points and sometimes I wouldn't. I always gain Physical Level EXP though.

Yeah, I know all this, but it was drastically different. Perhaps it was the number of times I was hitting.

If you're saying different from the Open Beta, then I think it's because in the Beta they had an increased gain of points or something because I remember leaving up faster. And it would make sense so people could test the higher level content. Otherwise, I don't see a problem. It does the same for me in group fighting, but that's just because I know the points are random.

I meant different from each other, but we switched mobs and it turned out fine. Like others said, it's really the mob you picked. EXP is not bugged.

From level 10-13, if your in LL do dodo's around the level 10 camp.

I know what Cua's referencing to. Happened to me and my husband during beta. Seemed to us that if you landed the killing blow- only that person gets the phy exp while we'd both get the job based points. Seems buggy and is making us not want to duo.

Yeah me and a buddy still currently experiencing this he's getting like no sword skill whereas I'm getting ton of conjury yet he gets plenty of hits and his Dex is 40+. Donno what it is I'd say it's best for Gld to solo that was working for him.
