Dunno, sometimes I think GT5 looks more real than real life.

I almost said the exact same thing until I read it. The only way I could tell which one was fake was that the people in games still look pretty... well... unreal to me.

Looks nice but what are we looking at exactly, cinematics or gameplay screens?

Companies still use cinematics? Talk about a waste of disk space.

I mean, I can understand an opening and ending one, but anything during actual gameplay should be all real time rendering now.

You can tell it's not gameplay cause of the angles. Polyphony does have some sick people working for them, GT3 graphically can still make some noise. Surely everything we're seeing in these images are being run off the hardware.

Wheels(mostly the tires, rims slightly) still look too glossy compared to the real thing.

Its not coming out for a while, again. But i am sure they will deliver with the game. Always been a great game. I get annoyed watching replay videos tho. Show me the regular ass behind the car view, Hood view, cockpit type and that weird FPerson mode. Thats the only views you drive in. Why do all race games hype themselves with angles we cant possibly drive competativly with?

Well the game that we're going to be waiting a while for is GT5, what they showed was GT5 Prologue. Maybe I've been smoking too much crack but I think GT5P is supposed to be coming soon as a PSN download.

The graphics are impressive, but they can't match up to Real Life images, maybe in a few years, but not now.

Supposed to be Novemberish release. But again its not a full game... Only a couple tracks and few cars. So when is the full simulation game coming for PS3. I dunno.

GT2 was the last game to use "cinematics" and it was just the intro video which was film footage of races. GT3 and beyond are all done with game-renders.

OMG

/em goes to ebgames and reserves a copy

If anyone has any doubts at all. Put in a copy of GT4 into your PS3. Go to the options, then the screen options. Set the aspect ratio to 16:9, set your video output to HDTV.

If GT4, a damn PS2 game looks that good, I can believe this.

The motion blur looks way, way excessively overdone and rather ugly.

lmao, its funny to see the fanboys. I actually said "wow." And i think i heard early 2008.

What the fuck does that have to do with motion blur?

God forbid I make a single negative fuckin' comment about the screenshots. Oh noes, I have violated the sanctity of Gran Turismon 5!

I'm calling you stupid, if that didn't connect.

By the way, in GT4 at least, there are like 20 different settings you can change just when you're taking pictures, things like aperture and shutter speed. Let's see if you put 2 and 2 together.
