What's his purpose exactly? To horribly screw over and ruin the night of anyone who happens to be around when he's up? If so he did a bang up job tossing a great night right into the trash.
Skilling up, all's fine.. go to leave, guivre.. we both die.
I reraise, run back to raise.. guivre comes out of nowhere, kills me again.. goes down the hall and turns down a passage.. I reraise again, getting MP to raise Miya and GTFO.. and guess who the fuck turns around and heads RIGHT to me? Flee and all the SOFB caught me and killed me again.. stealing 4k exp and turning a good night to naught..

So this leads me to wonder.. What does this bastard drop? Anything worthwhile? Cause the moment I am able, I am going to kill him EVERY time he is up that I am within range..
 
Yes, he is just there to piss you off, and ruin the Cape Terrigan/Valley of Sorrows xp party you just spent 3 hours finding a RDM for. As far as I know, you'll never be able to solo him, so he'll continue to laugh at you about last night.

One of my fondest memories is back when GbY first started and we were running people through the ZM's. Passing through Kuftal and he was up, so we ran roughshot on his ass.

Never said solo.. I always have a handful of 75's who are bored more often than not.. I just intend to be a major factor.

Guiver I think gets the hardest HNM to drop worth ratio in the game... Basicaly it is a bitch fight that the drop can barely cover the price of an EXPs food for a couple hours.

I have lost track how many times I was exping in the Amemet room and he would gang bang me while pulling. Normaly its a great camp until I see in pt chat,

lol,i'm not laughing to be mean but GUIVRE has many bullets, arrows, clubs, swords with his name etched on them. each in the hands of a player that waits to be strong enough to kill his ass. my static's pld is determined to kill him once we're high enough to take him down. she's fallen to him twice in 2 seperate exp sessions in a row.
 
I spent HOURS trying to get my exp within 300 of level 70... for this asshole to snag away 4k... how do I tell an exp pt "Um.. I am only here for 3,900 exp.. sorry"?
 
he is one of the only NM's that actuallr roams through a largw portion of the zone he spawns in. where exactly IN kuftal does he pop?
 
Good question.. he roams the entire main hall...
 
Yeah, she seems to be a regular buttmunch to the player populace. Honestly, I think the idea of a roaming NM is dangerously underused by SE. At least a roaming WTFLOLPWN NM.

I've had my share of fun with Guivre..

he pops on the bottom floor in this small cave and walks up its preety scary actally just form the desert when going down that hill go right again up another hill then drop thats his pop point

Have you heard of a spell called Invisible....? it does wonders against Guivre unless im mistaken
 
Guivre is not true sight. I have pictures where I am sneaked and invised standing right infront of him and poking him.
