if invs in front of him he saw me and been on invs in front of him and got found when invs and not when on invs might of been under his nose
 
I think he drops a skull to make Wyvern helm or something with. Speaking of this bastard though.... and I laugh that I see this thread since I ran in an incident with him the other day.

It happened last Friday maybe, but I was running around Kuftal Tunnel to all the Coffer Spawn points that I was looking on the online map, since a WAR from my LS needed help with his WAR AF, and he had a coffer key, but just needed the coffer.

So since I was in the Desert I offered to help him out. Ran around the entire map almost 10 times looking at all the spawn point locations, didn't find any coffers at all that day -.- Then I told him I had to go out soon to do some stuff (Which I did) So I went to go look around one more time.

At one point I stopped midway into the map to check around, and right from behind me I was suddenly getting raped...

Guivre takes 246 damage off Chronofantasy
(Here's where I tried to sleep it or stoneskin or something, since I didn't bother to buff up while I was looking around, yet it interrupted me -.-)

(Then I tried to convert but...)

Chronofantasy was defeated by Guivre -.-

Then it ran off... raped me in 3 hits XD I asked the WAR if he could find a whm to R3 me, but luckily a whm with R3 was just down the tunnel and came to raise 3 me in a matter of a minute or two. Then I escaped my ass outta there once raised and decided to get going then and told the WAR that maybe our luck at that time wasn't so great to look for the coffer and to try again later on.

I believe this thing needs a pty or two to kill though of 70+
 
I've trioed Guivre before with a THF and WHM and me on BRD

And Blazn, it's definitely not True Sight lol

Probably just put it down cuz theres not mobs around him that can link to him.

On a seperate note the guy had never aggroed me and I've been trying to mug him for months ever since level 50. For some reason I am the only person Guivre runs away from. I swear his job must be ninja/thf cause of how fast he runs away. It took me a month to even see him once and he was moving his ass as far away from me as possible while i chased him for 10 minutes. Everyone else in my party on the other hand gets aggroed including people around the corner from me.(guivre was gone by the time i flee'd around to corner to mug him)

Also let me know when ya fight him I want his cash.

I think it says something along the lines of
"I had Invis on and was standing right infront of him, he saw right through it and attacked me. I had invis on the whole time." Least that's what i make of it.

anywho i think he is both Sight and sound. I had invis up right near him too and well....let's just say that i was pulling dragon teeth out of my ass for a while >.>
 
actally i think it is smell now thinking over it
 
It aggroes to sight only

nothing aggroes to scent except doomed and undead ie when hp is 75% and under that is what deodorize is for so you don't get aggro

this is overlooked because coicidentally they aggro to sound as well

Most mobs that aggro thru sight or sound chase enemies by smell that is why if you get aggroed by an orc fodder then run in the river and out of site then the hate is erased

Blazn, monsters will still aggro you through sneak and invisible because SE haven't introduced a spell that masks your inteligence level yet.

He's probably the most retarded french demi-hnm on the game. I like bune better than him, atleast he drops something worth killing him, and rapes less exp partys because people actually want to kill him... Sometimes he can be up hours, if not days just running around one shotting poor mages.

I remember this one time, my first trip into kuftal, I got the privelege of getting up close and personal with my first dragon. He killed me once, I can deal with it, funny, we all laughed. I raised, he ran back through the hall, one shot me again, I was annoyed, there was some chuckling from the rest of the party... The next 3 times weren't so much funny as just straight annoying. For me, and my party. Being the only one with tractor and being eager to accept raises is a recipe for disaster.
 
I've only ever seen him once, and he killed me 3 times that night. I was on my way to Valley Of Sorrows for a party, and I got massacred in the Amemet room, the tunnel heading north, than not far from the Cape zone. It was both really frustrating, and really fun.
 
I bet Blazn didn't have sneak up and only invis and some other mob aggrod and hit him knocking invis off and Guivre saw him and raped him too so he didn't notice that sound aggro mob that knocked invis off him.
 
I like killing the HNM with no friends, and nobody loves. =P
Send me a /tell sometime, I'll help kill him, hope he has a buffer! XD
